FIREFIGHTER, DAD
Dan Tucker, a local firefighter and paramedic, visited Connie Ellington’s Pre-K class
at Bethlehem Elementary during Fire Prevention Week to read a story and present
his firefighting tools and gear to the class. His son, Jackson Tucker, is a student in
Pre-K.
Bramlett Elementary School 4-H officers
RECENTLY ELECTED
Each of the fifth grade classes at Bramlett Elementary School recently elected 4-H
officers. The officers help the 4-H staff members conduct monthly meetings and
more. The Barrow County 4-H Program staff visits once a month for meetings.
Students learn about 4-H, GA Agriculture, conservation, nutrition, protecting the
environment and more. The officers for Ms. Page’s 4-H Club are: president, Asia
Yang; vice president, Abigail lonashku; secretary, Sierra Skinner; reporter, Matthew
Xiong and parliamentarian, Alecsi Lopez.
NEW OFFICERS
Officers for Mr. Seuser’s 4-H Club are: president, Heather Xiong (not pictured); vice
president, Rylee Brugh; secretary, Kamila Artemenko; reporter, Katie Bussa and par
liamentarian, Miguel Gutieerrez.
CAMP GRANDPARENTS
Bramlett Elementary School PTO recently hosted “Camp Grandparents.” The camp
out involved a hot dog dinner with chips, drinks and s’mores. The grandparents
made pinecone bird feeders with their grandchildren. Dixie Taylor Photography
captured the memories with camp pictures. Ingle’s of Auburn, Hills Ace Hardware
and Publix at Mulberry Village helped make this event a success. Pictured are Davis
Murdock with his grandparents who came from North Carolina to attend the event.

Adudzor named
to dean’s list
Peter Kwesi Adzudzor, Auburn, was named
to the dean’s list for summer semester at
North Georgia College and State University.
Dahlonega.
Students achieving a 3.5 grade point average
and carrying 12 or more credit hours in one
semester are named to the dean’s list. Students
must also have no grade lower than a B.
Barrow students
earn degrees
North Georgia College and State University.
Dahlonega, has announced that the following
students from Barrow County earned degrees
at the end of the summer semester.
They are: Carson Britton West. Winder,
bachelor of science in biology; and Timothy
Charles McDonald, Winder, bachelor of sci
ence in general studies.
Barrow County students
named to dean’s list
Armstrong Atlantic University, Savannah,
has named several Barrow County students to
the dean’s list for spring semester.
They are: Robert Hogg. Statham, a pre-law
major; Joshua Buckley, Auburn, a pre-nursing
major; Nicole Neff, Auburn, a pre-nursing
major; and Doyin Oladimeji, Auburn, an unde
clared major.
In order to make the dean’s list, students
must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours
of course work and earn a grade point average
of at least 3.6.
APPRECIATION LUNCH
Recently, Rob Johnson, Russell Middle School principal, and Leigh Sears, RMS
assistant principal, provided the faculty and staff with lunch. They grilled hamburg
ers and hot dogs for the staff to enjoy during their lunch. Mr. Johnson and Mrs.
Sears did this to show their appreciation for all the hard work that the faculty and
staff has provided to RMS and to their students.

Officers for Mr. Williams’s 4-H Club are: president, Sidney McFarland; vice president
Jared Black; secretary, Taylor Shinn; reporter, Will Schramm and parliamentarian
Kevin Buice.

Officers for Ms. Power’s 4-H Club are: president, Helen Bryant; vice president,
McKenzie Brown; secretary, Tori Reed; reporter, Ryan Weidler and parliamentarian,
Hope Brewer.
