woman said she is having
issues with an unknown sub
jects and she knew someone
was outside because her dog
does not bark for no reason.
A deputy could not locate
any subjects around her resi
dence.
•911 hangup on Harmony
Grove Church Road, Auburn.
Central Communications
advised on call back the per
son would hang up the phone.
A deputy met with the hom
eowner who had three juve
nile males running around the
house playing. The woman
questioned her three sons, but
no one would admit to call
ing 911.
•civil dispute on Red Fox
Lane, Auburn. The com
plainant called 911 regarding
her neighbor planting flow
ers near her property line. A
deputy told the woman not to
call anymore unless it is an
emergency. A fence is not an
emergency, he said.
•residential alarm on Mill
Brook Lane, Hoschton. A man
was upset that his residential
alarm has been activated and
he came home to find a door
open in his house.
•theft by taking on Williams
Road, Auburn. A man said
when he and his wife returned
home one evening, some
jewelry had been taken. The
man suspected a friend of his
brothers who he thinks is on
drugs.
•911 hang up on Hardigree
Road, Winder. A man said he
attempted to locate the tele
phone number for Georgia
Forestry because he wanted
to obtain a burn permit. He
said he was unable to locate
the number so he dialed 911
because he did not know the
non emergency number.
•criminal damage on Hog
Mountain Road, Winder.
A Chevron employee said
someone had attempted to
take apart an outdoor air
conditioning unit valued at
$10,000.
•warrant service on
Thurmond Road at Dooley
Town Road, Statham. A
deputy performed a traffic
stop on a green 1997 Honda
Accord for taillight require
ments. The driver had war
rants for theft by receiving
stolen property and theft by
deception. He was arrested
and taken to jail.
•driving while unlicensed
on Atlanta Highway at Carl
Cedar Hill Road. A depu
ty performed a traffic stop
on a red Ford Mustang for
squealing its tires. The driver
jumped out of the car and
said, “Thanks a lot. I am driv
ing your drunk a** home and
now I’m going to jail for it.”
The driver admitted he had
not had a license since 2007.
The deputy gave him two
tickets, one for driving while
unlicensed and one for too
fast for conditions.

on Laurel Lane, Winder. A
woman showed a deputy
paperwork she got in the mail
stating that she owed more
than $30,000 to the Internal
Revenue Service. The woman
said she had once been a
victim of identity fraud and
has since been very cautious
about her personal infor
mation. A deputy took the
paperwork to document the
incident.

Smokerise Lane, Auburn. A
woman said an older white
male wearing glasses, a black
hoodie and black pants was
standing in front of her house
at the mailbox. She called
911 five minutes later when
she saw the man standing in
the same spot looking directly
into her house through the
glass front door.

Juntion Road, Winder. A man
said his wife was trying to
call New York City earlier
and she must have dialed 911
instead of 917 (Brooklyn area
code).

McCarty Road, Bethlehem.
A woman called 911 because
a male driver speeds up and
down her road. She provided
a tag number. A deputy met
with the man and he denied
speeding. The deputy asked
if he could take some other
route in order to keep the
peace between he and the
woman. He said yes.
•auto accident on Atlanta
Highway, Winder. A woman
said she drove her 2000
Chevrolet Tahoe into a con
crete pole.
•agency assist on Athens
Street at Park Avenue,
Winder. A man waved down
a deputy on patrol because a
truck bed was on fire. Winder
Fire Department arrived as
the deputy used his county-
owned fire extinguisher to put
out the fire.
•warrant service on Fleeman
Road, Hoschton. Someone in
another incident complained
about a neighbor. A deputy
checked that person for war
rants and was advised he was
wanted for a probation viola
tion. The man was told to step
outside and he was arrested
and taken to jail.
•DUI on Dooley Town
Road. A deputy responding
to a single motor vehicle
accident report met with the
female driver and detected
alcohol on her breath. The
woman failed a field sobri
ety test and was arrested and
taken to jail.
•deceptive/fraudulent tele
marketing felony on Saddle
Ridge Drive, Bethlehem. A
woman said she received a
$2,980 check in the mail with
instructions for a secret shop
per program. After deposit
ing the check on into her
checking account, she wrote a
check for cash. Then, she dis
covered her checking account
was severely overdrawn. She
learned from the bank that
the check she deposited was
fraudulent.

County line, Monroe. A
Walton County Sheriff’s dep
uty picked up a subject want
ed out of Barrow County. The
man has 16 counts of party
to a crime warrants for his
arrest.
•financial identity fraud on
Stoney Creek Drive, Winder.
A man said an unknown per
son had fraudulently used a
debit card that is part of a
joint account he shares with
his wife.
•911 hang up on Lokey’s
Ridge Road, Bethlehem. No
one appeared to be at the resi
dence when a deputy arrived.
•theft by taking at a cow
pasture on Jones Road and
Thurmond Circle, Statham.
The complainant said that
someone stole his 18-foot
cattle gate valued at $200.
•warrant service on Third
Street, Statham. A woman had
a failure to appear warrant for
an original charge of theft by
shoplifting. The woman, who
is six months pregnant, was
arrested and taken to jail.
•burglary on Wyntercreek
Drive, Hoschton. A man
reported his $550 Rolex
watch and $550 Taurus 9mm
handgun missing. He said
he has two teenage daugh
ters and one of his daughter’s
friends is homeless. All the
items were located within the
house.
•criminal damage to prop
erty on Tanner’s Bridge Road,
Bethlehem. A man said about
$1,000 worth of damage
was made to his 2007 Ford
Mustang. There was paint
chips and a red and white
Trident Layers gum box
located next to the vehicle.
•identity fraud on Manning
Gin Road, Bethlehem. A
woman said someone had
attempted to use her credit
card information to purchase
approximately one hundred
and forty eight dollars worth
of merchandise from www.
hardtopic.com.
•911 hang up on Burson
Maddox Road, Winder.
Central Communications
advised that it sounded like
the phone would be answered
and immediately hung up on
their attempts to call it back.
The homeowner was encour
aged to contact his phone
company to have them test his
phone line.
•warrant service on Autumn
Avenue, Winder. A deputy
responded to serve a man
with a warrant for theft by
taking motor vehicles. The
man was at his residence at
his front door.
•theft by conversion on
Duncan Lane, Winder. A busi
ness owner said an employee
refused to bring a key back to
building after he unexpectedly
quit. The man is on probation
for traffic charges. A deputy
advised that if they wanted
to press charges they would
have to go to magistrate court
to file for a warrant hearing. I
told her to keep receipts of the
new locks and alarm installa
tion if they chose to get them
to ask the court for restitution
for them if the employee is
charged and found guilty.
•burglary on Old Thompson
Mill Road, Winder. A man
said someone unknown to
him entered his residence and
stole a Philips DVD player, a
Caribou skin rug, a Craftsman
screwdriver set, Andy Griffith
DVDs, a Popular Mechanics
nutdriver/screwdriver set, a
Craftsman fluorescent work
light, a flood light, a folding
knife, a fake knife of Indian
origin, a nutdriver/screw
driver set, an extension lad
der, a Homelite chainsaw and
a set of class rings, valued at
a reported $1,223.
•damage to vehicle on Seven
Oaks Drive and Highway 211.
A woman said she struck a
trash can while attempting to
avoid another vehicle.
•suspicious incident on
Madison Drive, Bethlehem. A
woman said she came home
to find a black man sitting in
an older model Acura in her
driveway. The woman said
she asked the individual what
he was doing at her residence,
to which he replied he was
with Comcast and he had an
appointment to pick up her
equipment. Comcast advised
her to call 911.
•harassing phone calls on
Plantation Road, Winder. A
woman said her ex-husband
had called and texted her
approximately 55-60 times in
a two-day span. The woman
said she did not want to press
charges against him, she just
wanted him to stop calling
her.
•911 hang up on Honeysuckle
Trail, Winder. A man said
he just received his new cell
phone and number and he
called 911 so that they would
have his number on file to his
address. A deputy advised him
of the non-emergency number
to call for emergencies.
•forgery 1 st degree at Wal-
Mart on Atlanta Highway,
Winder. A man said his social
security check had been sto
len out of his PO. Box at
the Winder Post Office and
cashed at Wal-Mart in early
September. The man said he
did not know how it was pos
sible because he was the only
one with a key to the box. A
deputy asked why the man
waited so long to report. The
man said he had been trying to
get the social security office to
give him another check so he
could pay bills.
•burglary on Mackinaw
Drive, Bethlehem. A woman
reported the following items
missing from her residence: a
coin collection, a knife collec
tion, a Sony receiver, a Sanyo
Camera, a Minolta camera,
assorted gold jewelry, a hair
straightener, two sets of hair
clippers, a hair dryer, a six-foot
fiberglass ladder, a Porter cable
hand sander, a Ryobi weed
eater, two 18-volt Ryobi cord
less drills, a compound saw, a
torque wrench, a Mech wrench
tool set, two World War II bay
onets, a brass cutlery set, an
air compressor with hoses and
pneumatic tools and a socket
set with a total reported value
of $9,825.
•theft by taking on Kennedy
Sells Road, Auburn. A man
said someone stole his outside
heat pump valued at $2,600
and a 20-foot aluminum lad
der.
•burglary on Kendall Park
Drive, Winder. A man reported
the following items missing
from his residence: a black
in color 52-inch Samsung
flat screen television valued
at $800.00; a black in color
Playstation 3 game with two
controllers, one controller
being pink in color, valued
at $300.00; a black in color
Playstation 2 game with two
black in color controllers val
ued at $200.00; a black in
color Sony recorder DVD
player valued at $200.00; a
silver in color Apple Laptop
computer valued at $1200.00;
a white in color Xbox 360
game with one white in color
controller valued at $200.00.
The complainant said that a
couple books of his Bank of
America checks were taken
but he was unfamiliar with the
check numbers to the checks.
He said that the suspect! s) also
stole about $2000 worth of his
clothes from his bedroom.

Hwy. 211, Braselton. A 1994
Lincoln Continental that was
reported stolen was recovered
in the DOT Park-N-Ride in
Braselton.
•theft by shoplifting at Wal-
Mart on Atlanta Highway,
Winder. A woman was arrest
ed after an employee saw her
place several of the following
items in her purse and attempt
to leave the store without pay
ing for them: Splat multi color
hair dye, a cartridge, a scale,
Venus razor cartridges, BRT
right advantage and Benadryl;
a total reported value of
$80.87.
•battery on Hidden Acres
Road, Winder. A man said
his neighbor’s cousin, pushed
him trying to get him to fight
and he punched the man three
times in the face. The man was
intoxicated and said he called
911 because he did not want
to get in trouble, but he did not
want a report made.

erty on Will Maynard Road,
Winder. A man said that he
rented a 2003 Ford Taurus SE,
from Just Right Auto Sales
& Finance and while he had
the vehicle, someone had dam
aged the driver’s side door.
•vehicle accident on
Jefferson Highway, Winder. A
man said he struck a deer and
needed a report to file with his
insurance.
•arson investigation on
Brown’s Bridge Road in
Auburn. A man said he called
911 because he noticed the
vacant house next to his resi
dence was on fire. The man
said that the residence had
been vacant for about four
months and he was unfamiliar
with how the house caught on
fire. The man said there has
been a number of homeless
people living in the wooded
area near the residence.
•complaint on Leigh Court,
Winder. A woman said she was
watching her juvenile son ride
his bike when her neighbor’s
juvenile daughter asked if her
son could play with her. When
the children began playing, the
girl’s mother came outside and
told the woman that she did
not want her around her child
and the next time she saw her
she would call the police. The
woman wanted the incident
documented.

McCarty Road, Bethlehem.
A sheriff’s deputy responded
to a speeding vehicle com
plaint. The complainant pro
vided a tag number and said a
rusty black compact car often
speeds down the gravel portion
of Harry McCarty Road. The
woman said she stopped the
vehicle on one occasion and
asked the male driver to slow
down, to which he replied by
sticking his middle finger up
at her and speeding off. She
stated she is worried because
her 92-year-old mother lives
across the street from her resi
dence and may get struck by
the vehicle if she is pulling out
of her driveway or going to
check the mail.

Wright Street, Winder. A dep
uty executed a search warrant
for a man wanted for a proba
tion violation. The man was
arrested and taken to jail.
•suspicious incident on
Bankhead Highway, Winder.
A woman said she and her
husband have been separated
for several weeks, and he has
been driving up and down the
road in front of this residence
for the last hour. The woman
advised that her husband was
recently arrested in Clayton
County, is currently on drugs,
and might have intentions of
hurting her.
•failure to report an acci
dent on Patrick Mill Road,
Winder. A deputy responding
to a motor vehicle accident
saw two cars damaged on the
side of the roadway in front
of the Citgo Food Mart. A
woman said she was a passen
ger of a 2006 Chevy Cobalt,
and further said the driver of
the car left the scene because
she feared she had warrants
for her arrest. The woman pro
vided a name for the driver.
Further investigation revealed
that neither subject possessed
a valid Georgia driver’s license
and there were no witnesses
that saw “the driver” leave the
scene. No charges were made
at this time due to lackof evi
dence to prove beyond a rea
sonable doubt who was the
actual driver of the vehicle.

Lochwolde Lane, Winder.
An apparent custody dispute
between a 27-year-old Winder
female and a 29-year-old
Maysville man over a juve
nile.
•warrant service on North
Broad Street, Winder. A woman
met a deputy at the sheriff’s
office in reference to three bad
check warrants. The woman
said she was going through a
bankruptcy. The woman was
arrested and turned over to
booking.
•warrant service on Rutledge
Drive, Winder. A deputy met
with a woman who was want
ed for probation violation. She
was transported to the deten
tion center for processing.
•aggravated assault on Hog
Mountain Road, Winder. A
man was arrested after alleg
edly pulling a knife on the
daughter and husband of his
live-in girlfriend. Apparently,
his girlfriend had temporary
custody of the victims’ daugh
ter and they came to pick the
daughter up. According to the
victim’s statements, the Winder
man has a history of violence
and stabbing people and his
girlfriend, the victim’s mother,
has a history of drug use.
•DUI on West Star Street,
Bethlehem. A woman called
911 after her intoxicated boy
friend began arguing with her
and accusing her of having
another boyfriend. She said he
left her residence when she told
him she was calling 911. While
speaking to the complainant, a
sheriff’s deputy found the man
around the comer from the res
idence. The deputy attempted
to stop the vehicle the man was
driving, but the suspect failed
to stop, speeding toward the
residence, and skidding to a
stop in the front yard of West
Star Street, as the deputy was
in pursuit.

Road, Auburn. A woman said
her daughter and son in law
returned home to find someone
scratching her 2001 Chevrolet
Monte Carlo, causing about
$500 damage.
•warrant service on Chicken
Lyle Road, Winder. Sheriff’s
deputies responded to a resi
dence to serve a warrant ser
vice on multiple subjects. Upon
their arrival, several deputies
ran to the back of the house
where a male was attempting
to flee on foot by going out
a window. As he was being
apprehended, a deputy located
three subjects just inside the
front door.
•suspicious incident on
Diamond Ridge Drive, Winder.
A woman said she was watch
ing TV and the channels start
ed changing and the volume
was turning up by itself. She
said that her ex-husband is a
master electrician and has set
the home up so the TV will
change stations on its own. The
woman also advised that her
fire alarms had been tampered
with as well. The woman,
who has reportedly called 911
numerous times and made
numerous reports, repeatedly
told a deputy that if he finds
her with a shot to her head,
looking like a suicide, that it is
her ex-husband that killed her.
•criminal trespass on Royal
Oaks Drive, Winder. A deputy
responding in reference to a
physical domestic dispute
where the offender was swing
ing a machete at the victim and
other individuals on the scene.
An intoxicated man was arrest
ed at the scene, but no one was
familiar with a machete.
•auto accident on Atlanta
Highway in front of Oasis Bar.
Two men were arrested under
for suspected DUI’s.
•DUI on Athens Street at
King Street, Winder. A 35-year-
old man was arrested after fail
ing to maintain lane and having
an open container.
•terroristic threats and acts
on Patrick Mill Road, Winder.
A woman said she received 12
test messages and seven phone
calls from her cousin.
•theft of lost or mislaid prop
erty on Independence Court,
Winder. A man said that he has
been working on a motorcycle
and he took it for a test ride.
Sometime during that ride, the
tag vibrated loose and fell off
the motorcycle.

Manufacturer’s Court, Winder.
A deputy serving a warrant
at a business found a break
room door on the right side of
the building to not be secure.
While awaiting the arrival of
another unit, an Asian male
exited the break room doors
stating that he works there
and had set the alarms off this
morning while accepting two
chemical deliveries. The man
was wanted for two counts
aggravated assault, aggravated
battery, cruelty to children 1st
degree, three counts posses
sion of a knife during commis
sion of felony, obstruction and
criminal trespass. He was taken
to the BCDC.

at Dee Kennedy Road, Winder.
The driver said the vehicle
overheated. It was towed off
scene.
