ning out.
BOXER BOY NEEDS A BREAK
This young, male, Boxer mix was
surrendered by his owner and has

he can be goofy at times.

POOR SWEET PIT
This boy has been neutered and

current information, so he’s out of
luck. He is very friendly once he
warms up. The shelter environment
is stressful to him and he needs a
new, good home soon.
Adoption Updates:
Last week was a good week for rescues and adoptions. Of our featured pets, the little calico kit
ten with the half-and-half face got adopted, as did the white kitten and the brindle Pitt mix. Rescues
took the tiny Terrier mix pup, the 15-pound yellow and white neutered cat and a nice Chocolate Lab
that was not in the paper. The little tiny Lab pup and the nice half-grown Lab pup featured are still
available, as are the gray adult cat, the white Husky/Shepard and the elderly Beagle mix. So many
nice dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are hoping for homes at the shelter. For information on adopting
any of the animals, contact the Barrow County Animal Control Shelter, 616 Barrow Park Drive, Winder.
Shelter hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Call 770-307-3012 for more infor
mation. If you adopt an animal from the Barrow shelter, send us a picture of you with your new pet and
we will publish it.
