Stacy Dupree
Stacy Dupree is the mother of three college students, Ashley,
Cody and Megan. She enjoys preparing home cooked meals for
their college palates when they come home. Give her a reason
and Stacy is ready to cook up a party for her family. She also
enjoys scrapbooking and couponing.
Stacy is very involved in her church and teaches preschool and
children’s Sunday School. She has been employed at Haymon-
Morris Middle School for seven years coordinating business
partners and mentors. She was previously employed at Westside
Middle School.
Party Pizza Cookie
1(18 oz.) pkg. refrigerated sugar cookie dough (or your own
cookie dough recipe)
1/8 cup flour
1/3 cup mini marshmallows
Vi cup chopped Snickers fun size candy bars
1 cup M & M’s
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Flatten dough on round pizza pan covered with flour and
Pam.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Add next 3 toppings and bake another 7 minutes.
Cut into wedges to serve.
You could add red and green M & M’s for Christmas parties.
Makes 12 servings.

Terror by Gaslight....
Performance concludes this weekend at Community Theatre
The Winder-Barrow Community Theatre
will present “Terror by Gaslight’’ Friday
through Sunday, Nov. 4-6, at the Colleen
O. Williams Theater, Winder. The play
opened last weekend with three shows.
Performances on Friday and Saturday
will start at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, at 3
p.m.
The thriller is by Tim Kelly and Terri
Duffield is the director. The play is
produced by special arrangement with
Dramatists Play Service of New York City.
"Terror by Gaslight” is the final show of
the 2011 Main Stage Season is scary and
may not be suitable for young children,
organizers said.
The thriller takes place in 19th century
Philadelphia, where Dr. Cyrus Norton, a
brilliant but eccentric surgeon, is creating
an "anatomical museum” to further his
standing as a recognized expert on anato
my and dissection. The problem is that he
needs cadavers, and by law, these can only
be obtained from the public gallows, so
he is forced to deal with the unsavory Gin
Hester and her sinister partner, Scrubbs.
Chills mount as a persistent police detec
tive moves nearer to learning the truth
about the blackmail and vicious murders
caused by this alliance.

Tickets may also be purchased in person
at city hall. Tickets can also be purchased
in person with cash or checks at Pam
Veader's State Farm Insurance Office at
41 S. Center Street in Winder.
Advance ticket prices are $10 for seniors
(55-and-older), students and teachers and
$12.50 for adults. Tickets purchased at the
door are $13 and $15.
A portion of each ticket price will be
donated to the local Rape Crisis Centei
as part of the WBCT continuing program

1 (10 % oz. can) cream of chicken soup
1 1/3 cups water
% cup uncooked white rice
Vi tsp. onion powder
l A tsp. black pepper
4 skinless/boneless chicken breasts
1 cup shredded cheese
Mix soup, water, rice, onion powder and black pepper in
2-quart shallow baking dish. Top with chicken. Sprinkle chick
en with additional pepper.
Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until chicken
is no longer pink and rice is done. Top with cheese.
Sweet and Sour Slaw
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. Ramen noodles
l A cup butter
Vi cup sliced almonds
l A cup olive oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
l A tsp. salt
8 cups angel hair cabbage
Remove seasoning packets from noodles packages and reserve
for another use. Break up uncooked noodles.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add
noodle pieces and almonds. Cook, 5 minutes or until toasted,
stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Whisk olive oil and next 4 ingredients together in a large bowl.
Add cabbage; tossing to coat.
Sprinkle with toasted noodles and almonds before serving.
Creole Spinach and Crab Cakes
1 pkg. Stove Top mushroom and onion stuffing mix
1 2/3 cup hot water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and patted
dry
pkg. fresh crab meat (6 oz. or a little more if you would like)
3 large eggs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. butter
Mix stuffing, hot water and lemon juice in large bowl. Stir in
remaining ingredients, except butter. Shape into patties using l A
cup mixture. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Cook pat
ties 5 minutes on each side.
To kick it up a notch, use Vi tsp cayenne pepper in stuffing
mixture.
Makes 15-20 patties.
*This is great for parties.
