A woman called police after a couple who were stay
ing with her allegedly showed her marijuana suckers
they made and said they planned on giving them out to
trick-or-treaters. According to a Barrow County Sheriff’s
Office incident report, the woman reported the incident
to a deputy at the Winder Police Department at about 2
p.m. on Halloween. The woman said she had allowed the
21-year-old man and his girlfriend to stay in her home
the week before. When she arrived home the night of
Oct. 27, the man apparently had invited some friends
over and the woman noticed her dog was not acting nor
mal. At first, she thought her dog was dead, the woman
said. But, she then noticed that it was still breathing.
When she reportedly asked the young man what he and
his friends did to her dog, she said they started laughing.
When she walked into the kitchen, the woman saw what
she believed were small pieces of candy on the floor
and several green heart-shaped suckers in the kitchen.
The woman told police she tasted one of the suckers and
could smell and taste marijuana. She said she became
angry and kicked the man and his friends out of her
house. The pranksters are now reportedly staying at a
Brandon Way address.
Man allegedly trades another
man’s shed for prescription pills
A woman summoned authorities to report that she
had been stolen from after she traded a storage build
ing with her former landlord after she and her husband
were evicted in exchange for part of the rent they owed.
The woman said she noticed the building was damaged
recently and parts of the metal shed were laying in the
front yard of a nearby address. After talking with the for
mer landlord, the woman learned that no one had permis
sion to take the shed. A deputy met the landlord at the
shed, who confirmed that he gave no one permission to
take it. The deputy then went to the address of the nearby
residence where parts of the shed were discovered. He
met with a 23-year-old man who said he planned to buy
the shed from his friend “Dave.” Apparently, “Dave” told
him he had traded two Oxycodone pills for the shed. The
man said he took the metal and returned it to the victim’s
residence. The deputy had the female complainant fill
out a witness statement to confirm she had given the
shed to her former landlord. The man who said he traded
the shed for two prescription pills was arrested for theft
by receiving stolen property and taken to jail. “Dave”
was never found.
Man who lives in camper leaves
wife for woman who lives in house
A woman who said she lives in a camper parked on

woman’s husband with alcohol. When the woman went
inside the house to ask her husband to quit drinking and
come to bed with her in the camper, but he refused. The
two women reportedly got into a verbal argument over
drinking. The complainant did not know the temptress’
name. After the woman returned to the camper alone,
she heard what sounded like rocks hitting the outside of
the camper. She opened the door and was hit by the door
closing back very fast. The woman was not sure how the
door closed back so quickly, but she told a deputy she
thought the other female shut it in her face. While tak
ing her information, the deputy learned that pecans were
falling from a tree directly over it. Neither the complain

residence would answer the door. The complainant took
her two children to go stay with a friend for the night.

the vehicle near Woodlawn Avenue and pulled the driver
over. The driver insisted he was not speeding because his
car will not go that fast. The man further told the officer
that he always pulls him over and to go ahead and “write
it up” because that’s what the officer was going to do
anyway. When the officer approached the driver with a
citation, the man reportedly said he was not signing any
citation because he wasn’t speeding. The officer then
asked the man to exit his vehicle and placed him under
arrest for refusal to sign the citation. The man’s car was

ited entry form. The deputy walked next door to make
contact with the neighbor. After advising her of the
situation, and serving a prohibited entry form to her, the
neighbor said she understood, but she denied having a
key to the other woman’s home. Furthermore, she told
the deputy that the complaining neighbor recently texted
her to “sleep with one eye open,” and constantly harasses
her and her family. The deputy told the woman he would
