WBHS student admitted vandalizing AHS football player's car
A 17-year-old Winder-Barrow High
School student was arrested following this

to keying an opposing team member’s car
with the initials of his alma mater.
Officers arrested Jesus Teran, of 281
Ambassador Circle, Winder, on scene and
took him to the Barrow County Detention
Center where he was charged with criminal
damage to property.
According to a Winder Police Department
incident report, the AHS football player
told police he was “excited” in the WBHS
parking lot where he was performing a
chant with his football buddies over their
recent 47-0 win against the rival team when
he noticed a Hispanic male near his car giv
ing him a very mean look.
The victim said he was at the rival school
because his sister was competing in a
cheerleading competition and he was there
to watch her. When the competition ended,
the victim returned to his car to notice a
large scratch that said ‘WB’ on the trunk
possibly done with a key or a knife.
Officers narrowed Teran down as the
primary suspect and located him at his
residence later that day where he admitted

harassed and he became angry. The officer
wrote in his report that he arrested Teran
due to his admittance of guilt.
