These nice pets and many others are available for adoption through Pup &
Cat Co., a Barrow-based, all volunteer, non-profit Humane Society/Foster
Home organization. Pup & Cat Co. rescues animals from the Barrow County
Animal Control Shelter, takes in strays and accepts surrendered animals on
a space-available basis. The animals are placed in foster care until they find
a forever home; none are euthanized. Adoption information is available on
the Pup & Cat Co. website. Some of the pets are at adoption days, which
are every Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Barrow Comers and Buford
PetSmart stores.
When inquiring, refer to the animals by name. For more informa
