Most of the defendants were also ordered to pay court costs, along with their fines. A Cooper Bridge Road, Braselton, man said two dogs attacked his dog near his resi dence. According to the incident report filed at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the owner of one of the dogs was contacted. She said her dog is usually on a chain and she didn’t know how he got loose. Other incidents reported to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office last week include the following: •trespassing at a Duck Road, Braselton, location. •fire at a vehicle at a Hwy. 332 location. •property damaged at a Charlie Cooper Road, Braselton, address. BURGLARIES, THEFTS Burglaries and thefts reported to the sheriff’s office include the following: •several items taken from stor age buildings at a Zion Church Road, Braselton, address. Piedmont CAS A, Inc. announced recently that it received a $2,000 grant from Target in recognition of its efforts in providing a vol unteer to speak for every foster child. Annette Raymond, executive director, stated: “We are very excited that Target has chosen our organization to receive this grant.
