Santa visits West Jackson Primary students Santa Claus and his elves arrived in style recently at West Jackson Primary School, compliments of the West Jackson Fire Department. The children enjoyed cookies and cocoa as Santa read, “The Polar Express.” After the story, the chil dren were invited to have their picture taken with St. Nick. Photographic services were provided by business partners Cathy Patrick of Little Hootie’s Dippin’ Parlor and Tim Lubbess of Image Makers Photography. The Saturday event, sponsored by the WJPS PTO, drew more than 125 children. “We are so appreciative of everyone who helped provide an enjoyable way to promote literacy here at our school,” said special events coordinator Kendra White.
