lieve nervous headache. She fell asleep
and unconsciously enhaled too much.
Two negroes near Thomasville, Ga., fell
out tho other day about some trifling jest,
when one stabbed the other, causing in.

Four negroes near Ashepoo Ferry, S.
C. fell out the other, day, on account of
jealousy, of when the one was shot. The arms
and legs murdered man were hack¬
ed oil with hoes and his skull mashed,
when the assailants buried him aud fled.
Mrs. John S. Thrasher—wife of Col.
J. S. Thrasher, Supt. of the Southern
Press Association during the war—died
in New York lately. She was a sister of
Mrs. T. R. Bloom of Macon, and mother
ot Mrs J. R. Bostwick, of Atlanta.
