THE subscribers offer for sale their MlNES,sitaat
ed in tin county of Cherokee, being lot num
ber nine hundred in the twenty first district ot the se
cond -ection of the Cherokee Territory. The mine
was discovered in the eariy part of last spring by the
Indians, and was operated on by them lor a few weeks
with success. The subscriber began working it <>U
the Ist of May last, and have been as successful as the
proprietors of any other none in the btate. The min
ing ground is extensive both in branch and surface
deposites; and, as far as trial has been made, the ore
on the ridge, proves as rich, at d the prospect of
vein mine as flatteriug, as any that hss ever been di
covered. The mine is situated immediately be -
tween the Sixes and Allatooney mines, and conven- -v
ieut to be got to, and contains seventy-four acres v
The improvements, in buildings, are sufficient forthe
accommodation of fifty hands, with the privilege of
water and timber not "surpassed by any. Persons, _
wishing to go into the business, would do well <-
