Negron, 65, continues to perform concerts and sing 3 Dog
Night hits such as ‘One," "Eli’s Coming,” “Mama Told Me
(Not to Come)” and “Joy To the World," plus some of his own
later solo work. “I am very proud to have
been a part of 3 Dog Night and all
that music. Its a part of the American
landscape,” says Negron, who went
§■ solo in 19” after the band had run
|H its course. The father of four says his
yK voice has improved with age. "I've
W even gained half an octave; I now
have a sou r-and-a-hal f-octave range."
