If you’re watching your
family budget, the Georgia
National Fair offers plenty
for free. In fact, except for
the midway rides, the sou
venirs and the food, once
you’ve paid your admission,
you can keep your wallet in
your pocket. Here are some
of the highlights of the new
offerings for this year’s fair:
The Pirates of the
Caribbean High Dive
Show:
In the Pirates of the
Caribbean high dive show, the
Pirates set sail for Treasure
Island under the command of
the brave Captain Kidd, but
there was a small problem
you see, the captain lost the
map and sailed them straight
into the worst tropical storm
to ever hit the South Pacific.
This family-friendly, action
packed show features spring
board and tower diving, com
edy, clown diving and a finale
high dive from over 70 feet
in the air!
Live Stingray Exhibit:
Get up close and personal
at the worlds only traveling,
self-contained stingray exhib
it. Children and adults alike
can safely view, touch, and
even feed these creatures and
receive a truly hands-on edu
cational experience! The rays
protective barbed “stingers”
have all been removed, so
that they are completely safe
to handle, even by children.
In addition, you will also be
able to see and touch differ
ent types of crabs, as well as
other forms of sea life.
The Future of Magic:
Award winning illusion

through space and time, you

of music, as well as some of
their original songs.
Memories of Mayberry:
Memories of Mayberry is
a fun tribute to the Andy
Griffith Show featuring,
Barney, Gomer, and the
Mayberry squad car. The duo
will be roaming throughout
the fairgrounds, keeping
“law and order,” and leaving
a trail of smiles behind.
The Coasters:
The story of The Coasters
is told during the show while
performing a string of their
numerous smash hits that
rocketed them to national
fame such as, “Yakety Yak”,
“Charlie Brown”, “Along
Came Jones”, “Little Egypt”,
“Searchin” and the multi-mil
lion selling record, “Poison
Ivy”. This show consists of
more than just hits. They
also add a touch of comedy
and an array of songs from
the 50s to today.
Lindsay Ellis & Remix:
This year, Lindsay Ellis
brings her Las Vegas style of
talent along with her dance
band “Remix” to the Georgia
National Fair! She’s opened
shows on the Grand Ole
Opry stage with such coun
try legends as Roy Acuff, and
Porter Wagner. When she’s
in Las Vegas, she dazzles the
casino stages, performing
songs from Fergie to Heart.
