He was born June 4, 1960 in Omaha, Neb. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 293 in Purcellville, Va., attended Thompson Direct School where he was an honor student in com puter technology. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed the waters of Minnesota and Lake Ontario. He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Betty (Baldwin) Maus. He is survived by his brothers Dewey (Deb) Maus of California, Ron(Cindy) Maus of Texas, Jon(Carroll) Maus and Terry Maus of Virginia, his sisters Sharon (Vic) Cyr and Rita Hagen of Warner Robins. Burial will be private. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed. Frank Jaros BYRON - Mr. Frank Jaros, 85, of Perry, and lately of Byron, died Friday, Sept. 28, from complica tions following surgery. A private memorial service will be held. Mr. Jaros was born Dec. 9, 1921, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. He studied agriculture at Ohio State University. Frank and his family moved from Ohio to the middle Georgia area in the early 19605. He farmed full time just north of Perry on U.S. 41 and in Peach County. He never considered retiring and actively farmed full time until just shortly before his death. A straight forward, “tell it how it is" kind of person, Mr. Jaros could always be counted on to have a story to tell. Preceded in death by his son George Jaros(Wanda Jaros Russell), a member of the first graduating class of Westfield Schools, Mr. Jaros is survived by his wife Doris, a son, Mike (Sallie) Jaros, of Fort Valley, and a daughter, Judy (Harry) Jaros Johnson, of Albany. Seven times a grandfather, his grandchildren include Bryon (Tiffany) Jaros, Stephanie (Jimmie) Favors, Jimmy Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Wendy Johnson, Jamie Jaros, and Kellie Jaros. “Papa” was also the proud great grandfather of Chelsey and Caleb Jaros. Ronald James Williams PERRY - Ronald James Williams of Perry, Ga., formerly of Centreville, Md., died at his home on Tuesday, October 9,2007. He was 73. Mr. Williams was born July 21, 1934 in Reynoldsville, W.V. He was the son of the late Forrest and Eleanor Moore Williams. Following graduation from high school, he began a 26- year career in the United States Air Force as a teletype oper ator in a ground communica tions center in Keflavik, Iceland and traversed through various assignments at the Pentagon, Hawaii, Maryland, Germany, and Virginia. He attained the rank of chief master sergeant and retired in 1980 as Superintendent of Communications in the National Military Command Center at the Pentagon. After retirement from the USAF, Mr. Williams was employed for 19 years as a technical staff mem ber for a government contractor where his communications oper ational background continued to expand while exercising various airborne and ground Command and Control Communications systems. He resided with his wife, Doris, in Centreville, Md., until mov ing to Perry, Ga., in 2005. He was pre-deceased by a daughter Theresa M. Williams and a brother, Phillip E. Williams. Funeral services included a memorial service at their home church, First Christian Church, Perry, Ga., Wednesday, 10 October 2007, and at the Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newman Funeral Home, Centreville, Md., on Saturday, 13 October 2007, with visitation from 6-8 p.m. and service at 7 p.m. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery on 10 December 2007 at 9 a.m. Please sign the online register at watsonhunt.com. Ancil S. Hatton WARNER ROBINS - Chief Petty Officer Ancil S. Hatton USN (Ret.), born to Samuel and Martha Jane Hatton Dec. 25, 1936, of Baptist faith, passed away Tuesday. Survivors include his wife, three sons, a daughter, two brothers, three sisters and four grandchildren. Services were held Thursday in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Thomas R. Rudd WARNER ROBINS - Master Sgt. Thomas E. Rudd USAF, (Ret.), 81, passed away Tuesday. His parents and sister preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Annie Rudd, Warner Robins, a son and daughter, three granddaughters, a brother and sister and two sisters-in-law. Services were held Friday. Luclllo Sandberg WARNER ROBINS - Lucille Sandberg, 89, passed away Oct. 6. Her husband, son and parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her daugh ter, Sandy Ahlvin, Byron, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
