Young, a former mayor of Augusta, who know trav els across the southeast for HUD, said that he had toured the housing and it REMODELING SALE was “well kept and attrac tive.” He praised the local offi cials and the maintenance staff for “being good stew ards of the people resourc es. Young also presented the authority with a check for $72,867 for use in capital improvements. Funds from HUD basically supplement the rental income from hous ing units.
