Diabetes Exercise Program An exercise program specifically for adults with diabetes who would like to learn more about the correct times and methods for exercising in relation to diet and medication. The program is administered by a team of nurses, exer cise physiologists and a certified diabetes educator. A dietitian is also available for one-on-one consul tations with each par ticipant. The ICA will also be able to admit patients directly from the Emergency Department and physician offices as long as certaih criteria are met. “By admitting patients to the ICA, we will be able to relieve some stress on the Emergency Department and place the patients in beds instead of having them wait for any extended amount of time in the ED,” explains Kubia.
