Kennedy’s Flat Stanley, according to a release, was shown a warm welcome at Westfield where he vis ited the library, ate lunch with the class, and taught a Saxon math lesson. Before returning to Alabama, Gray reported that their paper guest took a detour to Erskine College in South Carolina to visit her daughter Ashley. The Westfield Schools students sent photos and souvenirs with Flat Stanley to help their new Alabama friend learn more about Georgia, Perry and Westfield during his adventure there.
