Dressed as scarecrows, students cre ated a scarecrow art proj ect, decorated a scarecrow cookie snack and com pleted worksheets about scarecrows. Buzzly Bee visits Centerville Elementary Special to the Journal Centerville Elementary Pre-K and Kindergarten children, according to a release, recently enjoyed a fire safety program with Buzzly Bee. Fire safety educator and firefighter Jeremy Morgan, from the Centerville Fire Department, presented the Buzzly Fire Safety pro gram. About 150 Centerville Elementary children watched the Buzzly Fire Safety animated video and then participated in a fire safety activity. The grant-funded pro gram teaches, according to the release, fire safety survival skills to children in preschool through third grade in Houston County.
