Survivors include her parents, Hubert and Jewell Cooper, Warner Robins, a Sis ter, two brothers and a nephew. Services were held Tuesday in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment fol lowing in Andersonville National Cemetery. Felix A. McKay WARNER ROBINS - Felix A. McKay, 74, passed away Thursday. Survivors include his wife and her family, Edward Meth maker gets Special to the Journal Danny Duane Frazier, 43, of Oasis Avenue, Warner Robins, pleaded guilty this week in Houston Superior Court to one count of Manufacturing methamphetamine - just moments before a jury was to be selected to hear his case. Frazier was sentenced to 24 years and ordered to serve eight of those years in prison. In addition to the prison time, he was ordered to pay a $2,000) fine plus numer ous additional fees. He was also banished from Houston County for the entire 24-year sentence. Frazier had been indicted for manufacturing and trafficking methamphet amine but was allowed to enter a plea to just manufac turing. The trafficking charge was dismissed as part of his sentence. Frazier, who had no prior felony convictions, had an active Methamphetamine lab New Dec 9 %'*> Full Dec 24 Perry grad runs in AF marathon Special to the Journal Air Force Airman Ist Class Christine M. Taylor partici pated in the 11th annual Air Force Marathon at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio recently. Almost 5,000 participants registered to compete. All competed in either in the 26.2-mile run, or as a mem ber of a four-person relay team, a half marathon (13.1 mile), a 5K run, or a wheel chair race. Taylor is a system admin istrator with one year of mil itary service, and is 'assigned to the 609th Air Intelligence Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, S.C. Graveside services were held Sunday, in Pitts Cemetery, Pitts. Geneva N. Starnes WARNER ROBINS - Geneva N. Starnes, 92, passed away and approximately 16 grams of methamphetamine when arrested on April 6, 2005. On that date, agents with the Southeast regional Fugitive task Force went to 302 Oasis Avenue looking for Eva Marie Hutchinson who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. After being let in the residence, agents discovered what they believed was a clan destine methamphetamine lab. Narcotics investigators with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded and obtained a search war rant. An active meth lab was found. Deputies also found a metal lockbox that contained a significant amount of meth amphetamine, As well as various recipes for metham phetamine and a diary that contained details of previous meth cooks. Hutchinson was not at the residence at the time. The three people who were present, Frazier and co- Parkway Drive, Perry and a 2005 graduate of Perry High School. Survivors include her son, LaMoye Starnes, Bonaire; son-in-law, Donald Lusk, Merritt Island, Fla. six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services were held Sunday in Magnolia Park Cemetery. 24 years defendants Samantha Rainey and Steven Clanton, were all arrested and charged with manufacturing. Rainey and Clanton’s cases remain pend ing. “Anytime you have a meth lab, it is a very dangerous sit uation,” said Senior Assistant District Attorney George Hartwig. “We’ve had some one killed in Houston County making meth,” Hartwig said. The sentence was imposed by Judge Katherine Lumsden. Frazier was prosecuted by Hartwig and Timothy Marlow, Assistant District Attorney, Houston Judicial Circuit. Duane Frazier was represented by attorney Fred Graham of Warner Robins.
