Willie King, center, is leaving the Perry Planning Commission after 22 years of service. The 888, according to a release, has received numerous calls from consumers inquiring about an automobile advertisement placed online via CraigsList.com. The Scam the 888 reported, is as follows: USA Transport contacts the buyer once the money has been wired to confirm a scheduled time for deliv ery; however, the delivery never occurs and the $3500 is gone. The group’s first meeting was Tuesday at the Perry Extension building (Top floor of Old Courthouse). A second meeting will be held Thursday also held at the extension office beginning at 6 p.m. Georgia Project Shooting and Firearms Education, according to a release, teach es youth marksmanship and gun safety skills.
