elect four parent/guardian repre

Diabetes “In Control”
Course - Call for sched
ule. This course recognized
by Jhe American Diabetes
Association is taught by reg
istered nurses, dietitians, and
certified diabetes educators.
The course consists of a
one-hour initial assessment
and education, a two-hour
nutrition class, and two five
hour comprehensive education
classes. Follow up at three,
six and 12 months after com
pletion of the entire program.

Program - An exercise pro
gram specifically for adults
with diabetes who would like
to learn more about the cor
rect times and methods for
exercising in relation to diet
and medication.
The program is adminis
tered by a team of nurses,
exercise physiologists and

tor. A dietitian is also avail
able for one-on-one consul
tations with each participant.
