Warner Robins would go on
another 5-0 run.
The Lady Bears had 11-
point leads both at halftime
and at the end of the third
period. Gazaway opened the
second half with two 3-point

found Lakeisha Colbert in
the post, and she brought
Warner Robins within five

Houston surged back to
the 11-point edge to end the
third period with Thomas
finding Hewitt in the post and
Williams and Farrah Lewis
connecting in transition.
For the first half, Houston
County’s path to a big lead
was to go ahead and match
any production from Warner
Robins. Williams and
Billings traded 3-pointers at
the start.
Williams hit another long
jumper when Johnson saved
the ball on the floor right

had seven.
Ritter had both a steal
and a block in the first
quarter, which ended with
a 12-3 Warner Robins lead.
His steal led to a fast break
where Jared Fluellen gave
the ball back to Ritter for
a basket. Ritter also scored
on a pass from Enos while
breaking the Houston
press.
Anderson ended Warner
Robins’ opening 7-0 run
with his team’s only field
goal of the period. Nate Clay
and Robbie Bailey came off
the Demon bench to score
five.
Kenny Fluellen, in the sec

saw Westside do time and
time again the night before,
and that’s shoot numerous
free throws. T.S. Whitmore,
another young Warner
Robins reserve, fed Jordan
Sanders inside for a basket
that made it 26-8 at 2:50.
Marquis Perine of Houston
scored on a Stanton assist
for only his team’s second
field goal of the half, but
that was followed by a push
from the Demons with Jared
