Perry Chamber Holds 3rd Annual
State of The Community Luncheon
The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Perry Chamber of Commerce held the
3rd Annual Sta a te of the Community Luncheon on December 6, 2007 at Rozar Park in
Perry, GA. The event was held to inform the local community of the progress in Perry
during 2007. Speakers for the Luncheon included Perry Mayor Jim Worrall, Houston
County Commission Chairman Ned Sanders, and Houston County Board of Education
Superintendent David Carpenter.
The Bank of Perry, City of Perry, Gilmer Warehouse and Logistics, Houston Home
Journal, and Windstream sponsored the luncheon.
City of Perry Bus
Makes First Trip

The Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Youth Leadership Class used
the City of Perry Bus for the first time on December 13,2007. This
was the maiden voyage of the new bus. The class was headed to
tour Robins Air Force base for the day.
