The play is a drama by John Henry Redwood, Dramatists Play Service, and directed by Venis GLover. The script calls for an all black cast of one man and three women. The play's description; “This is a gentle, sweet-natured com edy about life in Harlem in 1943. The story chooses to remember the good without the bad, being about the relationship of two ‘SO - church-going spinsters or, as they were called in those days, Old Settlers, Elizabeth and her sister, Quilly. Dec. 10, the home hosted the Acoustic Celtic Christmas show at the Cox Capital Theatre in Macon. The show featured spiri tual, Celtic, southern and traditional seasonal songs, complimented by stories and recitations. The donation was made to help the GICH in their ongoing efforts.
