Man gets 25 for drug dealings

A Warner Robins man was
sentenced to 25 years and
ordered to serve 10 of those
in prison without the possi
bility of parole following his
guilty plea Wednesday.
Vonterrelle Jamal Glover,
29, of 114 Beatrice Drive
pleaded guilty to the charges
in Houston Super Court to
one count each of possession
of MDMA (Ecstasy) with
intent to distributed and
possession of marijuana with
intent to distribute.
In addition to the prison
time, he was ordered to pay
a $2,000 fine plus numer
ous additional fees. He was
also banished from Houston
County for the entire 25-year
sentence. Glover, who had

Police return fire; take out
suspected armed robber

Officers of the Warner
Robins Police Department,
according to a release, were
dispatched to the Food Lion
located on 2607 Moody Road
Wednesday in reference to an
armed robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, the officers,
according to the release, were
confronted by an armed rob
ber who was attempting to
leave the grocery store. The
suspect then returned back
the store and fired
upon officers - police had
been alerted he was armed
via a 911 call from a store
employee (there were three
employees in the store at
the time). The suspect, later
identified as Leon Stanford,
38, of a Macon, address, was
then in turn shot when offi
auction, door prizes and more.
Tickets are on sale now for

rant for his arrest. Police
confirmed the warrant and
arrested Donald Gauthier.

A second suspect, identi
fied as Albert Rucker, was

juana in his pocket. In the car
where Glover had been seat
ed, police found several more
bags of marijuana and a large
quantity of MDMA (Ecstasy)
pills. Glover, according to the
release, admitted the drugs
found in the car were his.
The sentence was
imposed by Judge Edward
D. Lukemire. Glover was
prosecuted by Hartwig and
Timothy Marlow, Assistant
District Attorney, Houston

Republican Party to Hold Precinct Mass Meetings
On Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 10:00AM the Houston County Republican Party will convene
Precinct Mass Meetings to elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the Houston County Republican
Party Convention.
All Houston County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the
Republican Party are urged to participate in this process.
Registration is without charge and will open at 9:OOAM on Saturday February 16, 2008 at the City of
