out 2008 Personal Property Tax
Returns to all business, boat,

Man gets 30 years for cocaine trafficking

Rodderick R. Stanley, 25
of Tifton, pleaded guilty
this past week in Houston
Superior Court to one count
of trafficking cocaine.
He was sentenced to 30
years and ordered to serve
the first 10 of those years
in prison. In addition to the
prison time, he was ordered
to pay a $200,000 fine plus
numerous additional fees.
The total amount of fines
and fees, according to a
release, will be approximate
ly $350,000. In addition,
he was also banished from
Houston County and all
contiguous counties for the

reference to a shooting.

release, was a domestic call,
and officers determined that

According to a release
from the Warner Robins
Police Department, an
armed robbery occurred
at the Lowe’s Home
Improvement Warehduse
located at 2704 Watson Blvd.
The suspect, according to
the release, approached a
cashier, demanded money
and threatened the use of a
handgun.
The suspect the left the
store with an undisclosed
amount of cash.
He is described by police
as a black male in his 30s,
slender to medium build
and approximately 6-foot in
height.
He also had a mustache
and goatee and was wear
ing a dark green long sleeve
shirt with small white
stripes with a white collar,
white under-shirt , blue jeans
and black tennis shoes with
white laces and white soles.
His vehicle is described as
a gold in color Chevy Uplaner
- a newer model - with pos
sible tag of “823200” in
green lettering. The vehicle
may have magnetic signs
posted on the driver’s door
and driver’s side rear hatch,
according to the release.

RODEO - Plans are cur
rently under way for the 18th
annual Georgia National Junior
Livestock Show slated for Feb.
20-24. The show, according to
a release, features Georgia’s 4-
H and FFA students competing
for statewide championships.
Approximately 2,000 youth will
show in classes for hogs, heifers,
steers, commercial dairy heifers,
and breeding ewes. Admission
to the livestock shows is free to
the public.
Tickets are also currently on
sale for the 18th annual Georgia
National Junior Livestock Show
slated for Feb. 21-23.
For the fifth year in a row,
the rodeo has been designated
a Southeast Tourism Society
‘Top 20 Event for the Month of
February.” It features specialty
