$500.27 in US. Currency and ap
proximately 69 grams (2.43 ounces)
of cocaine.
Conduct giving rise to sei
zure and forfeiture: On November
28, 2007, at 0156 hours, Officer Jo
seph Balli, of the Perry Police De
partment, conducted a traffic stop on
a Cadillac Catera, bearing a tempo
rary Florida tag, number S-592479,
for a tint violation. The vehicle was
stopped south of the 138 mile
marker on Interstate 75 (I-75) con
tact was made with the driver, identi
fied as Paul Leon Robinson (black
male, DOB: January 12, 1981). The
passenger of the vehicle was identi
fied as being Lenorris Butler (black
male, DOB: September 4, 1978).
Robinson was asked to step out of
the vehicle to receive a citation for
the tint violation, Butler remained in
the vehicle. Dispatch advised Butler
had possible open warrants out of
Florida. Butler jumped over into the
driver's seat of the vehicle, and fled
south bound on I-75. Officers Balli
and Mixon both pursued Butlpr in
the vehicle, while Lieutenant Jack
Johnson took custody of Robinson.
Butler drove the vehicle off the exit
ramp at the 134 exit and wrecked.
Butler exited the vehicle and jumped
over the fence at exit 134. Butler
was captured by Officer Balli and
Mixon. A clear plastic bag containing
a white powder substance was lo
cated on the ground where Butler
had been taken into custody. The
powder substance field tested posi
tive for cocaine and had an approxi
mate weight of 69 grams (2.43
ounces). Both Robinson and Butler
were taken into custody for traffick
ing in cocaine. Robinson had
$165.27 in US. Currency. Butler was
captured by Officer Balli and Mixon.
Robinson had $165.27 in U.S. Cur
rency on his person and one coun
terfeit fifty dollar bill. Butler had
$335.00 in U.S. Currency. Robinson
was interviewed under Miranda and
advised that he had no knowledge
of the cocaine being transported in
his vehicle. Butler was interviewed
under Miranda and advised that the
cocaine was his. Butler advised that
both he and Robinson had used co
caine in the vehicle earlier on their
trip from Carrollton, Georgia back to
Tallahassee, Florida.

ton County Sheriff's Department, In
terstate Criminal Enforcement Unit,
conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle
occupied by Benjamin Holland Jr. A
narcotics detection k-9 gave a posi
tive alert on the vehicle and a sub
sequent search of the vehicle re
vealed several bags of Marijuana
and the U.S. Currency. The offender
was arrested and charged with pos
session of Marijuana with intent to
distribute and the currency was
seized.

executed a search warrant at 102
Madrid St Apt #7, Warner Robins,
Georgia. During the search warrant,
four to five pieces of crack cocaine
were discovered on Mr. Turner's
person while he was inside a 1985
Mercury Marquis parked in front of
the residence.
The above listed property
was being used or intended for use,
directly or indirectly, to facilitate vio
lations of the Georgia Controlled
Substances Act, and/or represents
proceeds realized or derived from
such violations and/or funds com
mingled with such proceeds and/or
represent "things of value" found I
close proximity to controlled sub
stances and is subject o forfeiture
pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 16-13-49.
All parties claiming an in
terest in said property are further ad
vised that they may file a claim
within thirty (30) days of the second
publication of this Notice of Seizure
by sending a claim to the seizing law
enforcement agency and to the Dis
trict Attorney by Certified Mail, return
receipt requested, to the addresses
set out below. Georgia law provides
that such Claims must be under
oath, are submitted subject to prose
cution for perjury, and that they must
comply with OCGA §
16-13-49(n)(4).
