Two large crowds watched as 67 girls competed for the six Dogwood Queen titles. The Perry High School cheerlead ers sponsored the pageants. See TERMINAL, page jA 7 busted fop dog fighting From staff reports Warner Robins police made seven arrests Thursday on dog fighting charges. According to police, the incident took plaee in a wooded area between Francis Street and North Davis Drive. Sgt. Craig Clifton, accord ing to the police, was the first officer on the scene and directed other officers to the location, where a chase of the suspects ensued. Arrested on charges of contributing to the delin quency of a minor, dog fight ing and obstruction of an officer were Shawn Travis Hightower, 30, Januaurus Vonques Tharpe, 17, and Terrance Marquez Prater, 19. Additionally, four juveniles were charged with dog fight ing and obstruction of an officer. They were released to their parents.
