The answer I had in mind for the 2005 novel set in Myanmar

However, some noted that Karen Connelly’s The Lizard Cage,
set primarily in a Burmese prison camp, was also published

Residents clap along
possessions are disappearing
at an alarming rate, due to
breakage.
I am discovering that it is
a waste to purchase furnish
ings and decorative items
for my home. By the time
that I find the perfect place
to put them, they are usu

It’s not just my boys that are
the culprits either.
We have a new puppy,
and you know how that can

the poor dog to hold it for
days on end.
We built our current home
several years ago and I spent
endless hours picking out
just the right paint colors
and floor coverings.
Looking back, I don’t
