the Mind Team World Finals
held May 31-June 2, at the
University of Maryland in
College Park, Maryland.
The team, according to a
release, won sixth place out

The Warner Robins High
School team won the state
championship for the fourth
year in a row.
The OotM team from
WRHS consists of: senior
Kyle Yawn, juniors Hannah
Toland, Chelsea Couch and
Nathan Westray, and fresh
man Stewart Jeter. Senior
Rachel Bledsoe competed
at the state and regional
levels, but was unable to
attend World Finals. The
team is coached by parent
James Yawn and sponsored
by teacher Scott Daniel.
The Tee Structure
Problem required teams to

that was eight inches high
and a weight of less than 18

tested for its ability to hold
weight. This year’s problem
also awarded points to teams
