Perry Players announce plays for the 2008-09 season

The Perry Players Board of
Governors would like to share
with middle-Georgia theatre
goers, the productions chosen
for their 2008-09 season.
Opening the season is The
Importance of Bein’, (no typo
here!). It is directed by Gary
Deibert, is translated from
Victorian England to the Old
South and opens September

Stetzlers celebrate 50th anniversary
Richard and Patricia
Stetzler of Warner Robins
recently celebrated their
50th anniversary at a din
ner given in their honor
by their children a the
Langston House Restaurant,
Henderson Village near
Perry. The dinner, held on
Saturday, May 10, was fol
lowed by a skeet shoot and
barbecue on Sunday, May
11, in Glenwood.
The Stetzlers were mar
ried on May 17, 1958 at
St. Michaels Church in
Hamburg, Penn. Richard
Stetzler served four years
in the U.S. Air Force, and
continued his career in civil
service for 39 years, retiring
from Robins Air Force Base
in 2001.
Patricia Stetzler retired
from the Houston County
school system after 23
years.
Their children are
Carol and Dale Deason of
Chattanooga, Tenn.; Karen
and Tim Moran of Perry,
Mindy and Tommy Anderson
of Glenwood. They have one
granddaughter, Alexandria
Morgan of Perry.

will once again be at the helm

Fowler-Sheffield set
June wedding date
Ronnie and Gail Maine Greene of Perry and Donnie
Fowler of Dexter, announce the engagement of their
daughter, Laura Loana Fowler to Walter Scott Sheffield,
son of Steve and Vicki Sheffield of Bonaire. The wed
ding is planned for June 21, 2008 at the home of Chan
and Pam Williams in Haynesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late
Sylvester and Florence Maine of Bonaire and the late
Ernest and Ruby Fowler of Haynesville. She is a 1995
graduate of Central Fellowship Christian Academy
and is employed at Robins Air Force Base as a sheet
metal mechanic.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Neva Headlund
of Perris, Calif, and of Pauline Sheffield of Fayetteville.
He is employed at Robins Air Force Base as a sheet
metal mechanic.
After their honeymoon n the Bahamas, the couple
will make their home in Haynesville.

will be Dearly Departed where
audiences will discover that
living and dying in the back
woods of the deep south are

directing.
