m MUSEUM FOUNDATION
AUCTION, RAFFLE - The
Museum of Aviation Foundation's
23rd Annual Auction and Raffle -
will be held July 12. The evening
at the Warner Robins, Georgia
Museum features a silent and
live auction of, according to a
release, hundreds of items and
a chance to win a new car or
truck. A SSO raffle ticket admits
two people into the auction,
which also features a free taste
of local cuisine prior to the auc
tion. More than 30 restaurants
and caterers will present their
signature menu items starting at
7 p.m. The silent auction starts
at 6:30 p.m., and the live auc
tion will start at 8 p.m. The raffle
drawing also includes second
and third prizes. Second prize is
a 47” Vizio Full High-Definition
Television set. Third prize is an
IPOD 32G Touchscreen with
3.5 inch display. Ticket holders
do not have to be present to

- The Middle Georgia Gluten
Intolerance Group, a branch of
the Gluten Intolerance Group
of North America, is hosting
a gluten-free picnic in Perkins
Park, 105 Mulberry Street (off

Hot dogs will be provided but
attendees are asked to bring a
covered dish with list of ingredi

OBITUARIES
Andrsw Lane "junior" Harris, Jr.
PERRY - Andrew Lane "Junior” Harris, Jr., 83, passed away
Monday, June 16, 2008, at Perry Hospital. Funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Watson-Hunt
Funeral Home. Interment will be immediately following the service at
Perry Memorial Gardens with military
honors.
Mr. Harris was born in Crawford
County to the late Andrew Lane Harris,
Sr. and Thelma Walton Harris. A vet-
eran of the U. S. Army, Mr. Harris was in the 101st Airborne landing
on Normandy Beach during World War II and fought in the Battle of
the Bulge. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He lived most of his
life in Houston County, and was a member of the American Legion.
He was also retired from Medusa Cement Corporation.
Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Harris of Perry; his chil
dren, Wayne Harris (Sheila), Steve Harris (Karen), and David Harris,
all of Perry; his half-brothers, Jimmy Jordan of Warner Robins and
Larry Jordan of Macon; his half-sister, Lorene Turner of Centerville;
eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Lane Harris, 111.

William Edward Bonner
PERRY - Mr. William Edward (Ed) Bonner, 77, of Perry, died
Sunday, June 15, 2008. He was born April 19, 1931 in Telfair County,
Geogia. He moved to Perry in 1956 and lived there until his death
in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bowen Bonner of Perry;
children, David Bonner (Kim) of Byron, Tonia Stefanko (Dr. Robert
Joseph) of Reno, Nev.; Larry Bonner (Vickey) of Perry, adopted
daughter, Wanda Griggers (Joe) of Griffin; 11 grandchildren, and four
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 18 at 2 p.m.
at Second Memorial Baptist-Church, Perry, Georgia. Interment will
follow in the Oakgrove Cemetery, Mcßae, Georgia. Visitation will be
one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Second
Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, Perry, Georgia. Vaughn
Funeral Home of Mcßae is in charge of the arrangements.

WARNER ROBINS - Mary Lou Harkins, 94, entered into rest
Sunday, June 15, 2008. Children are; Sarah Herrington (Van), Warner
Robins, Martha Johnson (Gerald), Cumming and Robert W. Harkins,
Warner Robins, sisters; Bobbie Thompson, Pontotoc, Miss., and
Aileene Tarrant, Tupelo, Mi§s.
