1, Clark managing 38 ringers
out of 104 shoes (36.54 per
cent) and DeFoe 17-of-104 for
a ringer percentage of 16.35.
In the finals, they finished
fourth with a record of 2-3.
Clark was 18-of-50 in regard
to ringers (36 percent), whild
DeFoe was 10-of-50 (20 per
cent).
Also in the B Class, Doyle
“Shorty” Johnson and Buddy
Ayer, both of the Perry club
- Ayer a defending champi
on - finished second to Clark
and DeFoe.
They were 3-2. Johnson
had 27 ringers out of 102
(26.47 percent), Ayer 20 out
of 102 (19.61). In the finals,
the two were fifth, also
with a record of 2-3. In that
venue, Johnson was 12-of-50
(24 percent), Ayer 10-of-50
(20 percent).

the Perry club, who teamed
up with Mary Lewis and
finished 2-3 and fourth in
the A Class (Byrd had 10
ringers out of 100); Dave
McKim (Perry), who teamed

Class (McKim was 23-of-100
in ringers); Dennis Mason
(Warner Robins), who along
with Jeff Code came in 0-
5 and sixth in the A Class
(Code was 9-of-100); Larry
Myers (Perry), who with Cody
Clark was 2-3 and fourth in
the B Class (31-of-100 for
Myers); Tom Carter (Perry),
who was paired with Larry
Davis and together finished
2-3 and fifth in the B Class
(Carter: 14-of-100); Royce
Byrd (Warner Robins), who
along with Andrea DeFoe
was 3-2 and third in the C
