The point of contact local ly is Terri Grimsley at the Senior Center at Rozar Park in Perry. She can be reached by phone at 478-328-0333. The program, according to the release, provides finan cial assistance to low-income, elderly and handicapped households to help pay their home heating costs. However, emergency assis tance may be available to those who have been discon nected or are in danger of disconnection. Households participat ing in the program must meet incme criteria and be responsible for the cost of heating their homes.
