Hearings and Meeting Notices There are a wide variety of public meetings which must be held in order for a government to take an action. Bid Notices When a local government is going to buy something or have work done on a project, it is often required to solicit bids via legal notices. A related area of legal notices involves the sale of surplus government-owned equipment, which also must be listed and published.
