I learned that I’M WORTH IT! That’s more valuable than any number on the scale... “I did the challenge because I wanted to change. Period.” That's what Sadio, an overweight nutritionist and single mom, said about the National Body Challenge. As a nutritionist, she advocated healthy eating to her clients - but secretly wolfed down fast food and was a self-confessed sugar addict And when it came to exercising, she said, “if even the slightest thing came up, I didn’t work out.” She turned to Discovery Health's sixth annual National Body Challenge to help her change that harmful mindset. Sadio joins a decadent chef, an aspiring rock star, a former college athlete, a diner waitress and a lawyer turned stay-at-home mom—who want to overcome lifelong sugar addictions, reduce their diabetes risk and be around for their children Follow their personal journeys in the National Body Challenge and cheer for the orange or blue team as health experts help them tackle individual obstacles. And you’ll meet the Body Challenge doctor, therapist, nutritionist and personal trainers who pushed them through intensive boot camps and tricky challenges. It’s easy to lose weight in an ideal world. But can they do it in the real one? Track their progress when they return home and have to live the challenge in their daily routines, facing real-world stresses. He wants to lose weight, but more than that, he wants to find “the man inside who still feels confident” under the weight he’s gained. m ~ W^BHkS3SS “I want to find the man inside who still feels confident."
