SOUND LOGIC. When Billy was three years old his mother bought him a pair of short duck pants. The first time they were washed they shrunk badly. Billy was fat, but his mother wedged him into the trousers —against his protest. Billy went out to play, but in a few minutes returned. “Mamma,” he said, “I can’t wear these panties, they are too tight. Why, mamma, they are tighter than my skin.” “Oh, no, they’re not, Billy,” replied his mother, “nothing could be tighter than your skin.” “Well, these panties are, because I can sit down in my skin, but I can’t in these panties.”—Exchange. ANIMAL IGNORANCE. Frederick and Felix, brothers of four and six years respectively, but of the same size, were asked by a strang er if they were twins. “No,” replied Frederick, indignantly, “I should think you’d know by our looks that we’re boys!”—Ex. EYOU CAN CURE Cntarrll Yourself of V/CIICII. »1 While engaged in the general practice of medicine I had many patients suffering from Catarrh whom I was unable to cure, although I prescribed for them by the rules taught in w / >medical books and colleges. I saw that the methods of treatment were wrong. I reasoned V / that as Catarrh is produced by breathing cold and damp air, so it should be cured by breath- f ing a warm > medicated vapor. After nine years of investigation I discovered a combination of healing herbs, leaves 7 AC an< l flowers, which, when ignited, and the warm fumes inhaled, would Instantly relieve and I in a short time cure catarrhal diseases. The ACCOMPANYING ILLUSTRATION shows how H ■ the warm, healing vapor is carried directly to the very parts affected. This remedy fights SL and kills Catarrh where liquids, sprays, douches, sakes and medicated creams cannot pos- B 1 sil >ly go. Hk ) ’ s a mos t reliable treatment, and Is so simple and convenient that it can be used at ||L gU home by man, woman or child. My honest belief, after prescribing this remedy for thirty-two years, is that it will cure ninety-five in every one hundred cases. My discovery proved so successful that I was obliged to give up my general practice and for thirty-two years have made Catarrh my specialty. BBljiljL f Relief for a Penny /)l.
