the churches.
Anticipating this demand, Walt Holcomb,
the well-known evangelist, of Nashville,
Tenn., organized The Union Evangelistic Bu-

reau, and incorporated it under the laws of
Tennessee. The charter says: “The purpose
of the bureau is to plan and promote union
revivals in the South and Southwest.” Some
of the features of the lyceum bureau have
been included in the organization. This is
the first movement of its kind, and its unique
features will be used by other organizations.
The officers of the bureau are as follows:
Dr. Allen G. Hall, Dean of the Vanderbilt
Law School is President. Dr. Ira Landrith,
Regent of Belmont College, is the Vice-Pres
ident. Mr. Everette Philpot, a Baptist lay
man, is the Treasurer. Walt Holcomb is the
Secretary.
The bureau, while in hearty sympathy
