LIQUOR THE CURSE OF THE AGE.

What is Home
Without an Appetite?
Many a Miserable Dyspeptic Can
Quickly Enjoy a Good Appetite
Using Stuart's Dyspep
sia Tablets.
There is nothing so deplorable as a
home where at every meal one mem
ber of the family sits in silence eating
a special diet while others are par
taking of the regular food.
Not only does this condition become
almost unbearable to the dyspeptic,
but it throws anything but a joyous
spirit over the rest of the family.
The Child —“Please eat some nice
chicken, papa."
The Father —“No, Buster, daddy
don’t feel like eating."
The presence of dishes before him
that a stomach sufferer cannot eat,
makes him sick at his stomach and he
is actually doing himself an injury
when he eats at such a table.
A Stuart’s Dyspepsia Tablet taken
after each meal will excite appetite
and in a short time one will find the
sight of food becoming less and less
repugnant until after a few meals one
will take courage enough to join with
the family in the regular fare.
As soon as this is done and there
follows no evil effects then by con
tinuing the use of Stuart’s Dyspepsia
Tablets you will soon be restored to
your normal, healthy and vigorous ap
petite.
One of the real pleasures of eating
is the joy of smelling and seeing food.
These qualities are essential to the
normal digestion for they excite the
flow of saliva in the mouth, and the
gastric juices in the stomach and thus
make ready the digestive apparatus
for the food when it is eaten.
Stuart’s Dyspepsia Tablets contain
ingredients that every system needs.
Weakened fluids of nature used in di
gestion are quickly restored to their
normal proportion, and in a short time
are so evenly balanced that the sys
tem can manufacture its own pepsin
and hydrochloric acid as it should.

a box of Stuart’s Dyspepsia Tablets,

MRS. J. R. ROSE,
Brunswick, Ga.
TWO FRIENDS.
They sat in the little, surburban
station waiting for the car that would
carry them into the city. Presently
the younger woman looked up at the
bank of foamy cloud that lay across
the beautiful June sky. “Dear me,
what if it rains before we get back!
I left Fred’s shirt in the sunshine on
the back porch and those bean seed,
too. And the children will be sure to
get wet for Nina did not carry an
umbrella.’’ Her pretty face was drawn
into lines of worry at the thought of
what would happen if it rained.
The older woman, who had a sweet,
serene face beneath a fluff of white
hair, smiled into the anxious eyes of
her friend. “Jennie dear, you must
learn to leave some things in the
hands of God. If the shirts get wet
they can be dried; if your beans are
ruined you can buy more; if your
children get wet surely they know
how to put on dry clothing. And a
June rain will not hurt a healthy
child. But you cannot call back this
lovely June morning if you spoil it by
useless worry. O, I am enjoying ev
ery moment of it from the soft winds
to the sweep of .the blue hills!" She
exclaimed with a sweeping glance.
“You are always such an optimistic
creature,’’ her friend laughed back
as she caught some of the spirit of the
older woman’s words.
“If there is anything good or beau
tiful I always want to see it,” was
the cheerful reply. “And I can’t see
any wisdom in letting your thoughts
stay on the back porch with a hand
ful of beans and a pile of shirts w’hen
we are going out for a happy trip.”
“And I just won’t!” Jennie agreed
as she arose and gathered up her
baggage. “The car is coming.”
ITALY HEMPERLY.
SOMETIME, WE’LL UNDERSTAND.
(Continued from page 10.)
that Christ lives and governs our
hearts, if we will, was more strongly
spoken and permanently implanted in
the hearts of those who knew him
than it is the privilege of those to
teach who talk more and live less.
Such living the Saviour’s love, such
sudden taking away of a strong, ro
bust man who had known very little
sickness in his life, and such strength
as the Father in His loving mercy has
given to the stricken ones brings us
a cluster of beautiful and fascinating
lessons. The lesson of Gods’ power io
transform the selfishness of the hu
man heart into His own likeness, of
His power to cut off our opportunities
to serve by calling us suddenly unto
Himself and of His power to sustain,
it matters not how severe the loss or
the crucial fire through which we are
called to pass.
“Sometime
These lonely heartaches will be o’er.
And we shall find a peaceful, quiet
rest
Beyond the sea that stretches out
before;
And we shall lean upon the Master’s
breast —
Sometime!”

RICH IN CURATIVE QUALITIES-NO HABIT FORMING DRUGS fcgt __
“A Cure for Every 111, Dear Lady.*
Nature’s unfailing pharmacoepia there is balm for
every wound and cure for every ill. It remains to be dis-
W covered by the intelligent mind of a trained physician ami
a PPl* e< l to each case.
<• :: \ Dr. Luella McKinley Derbyshire is a physician of vast
experience who is also a mother. To the knowledge and
experience of one she has added the experience and sym
pathy of the other. One of the most widely known lady
physicians in the world, she offers her services free to suf
fering womankind, and from the wisdom gained by her own
busy life will freely advise every ailing woman who will
write her, giving the benefit of her lifetime of experiences
and the wonderful discoveries in the scientific treatment of all female diseases.
She will also send you her valuable booklet, “Woman’s Ills,” and a free trial
treatment of the medicines she would prescribe for you. These may save you
from years of suffering and a serious operation. There is no need for thousands
of women to continue to suffer from curable ills when the attention of a success
ful lady specialist may save them and restore them to the good health and good
spirits loved ones have a right to expect. '
Only a mother knows the many cares of a home, the suffering and heart
aches which most women must bear. She is a woman, a mother and a physician
and can appreciate, as only a woman can, the sufferings, the aches and pains
women endure. For twenty-five years in hospitals and in private practice she
has treated women for nearly every complaint to which they are subject. Is it
not reasonable to suppose that she should be more successful in treating woman’s
ills than a physician who only has an occasional case of this kind?
To Whom It May Concern:—
I have been personally acquainted with Dr. Luella McKinley Derbyshire for more titan
fifteen years and knowher to be perfectly honorable and upright.
I take pleasure in recommending her as one who is thoroughly equipped in the knowledge
and practice of medicine and especially on the diseases of her sex. Any woman taking her
treatments cannot but be helped by the same. Yours truly, F. 11. STARKEL.I’res. Epworth League.
Many others of prominence testify as to her standing and integrity, while
thousands of women will tell of her skill and marvelous cures.
All correspondence is confidential; you may write freely. SEND NO
MONEY; but describe your case fully. Write today and get the booklet and
trial treatment free. *
