Need Attention in February and
Inarch or Face Will Stay
Covered.
Now is the time to take special care
of the complexion if you wish it to look
well the rest of the year. The February
and March winds have a strong tendency
to bring out freckles that may stay all
Summer unless removed. Now is the
time to use othine—double strength.
This prescription for the removal of
freckles was written by a prominent
physician and is usually so successful
that it is sold by your druggist under
guarantee to refund the money if it
fails. Get an ounce of othine—double
strength, and even a few applications
should show a wonderful improvement,
some of the smaller freckles even vanish

TWO BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIPS.
Dear Friends of The Golden Age:
A few days ago, I was reading “The
Household” department and enjoyed
Tessa W. Roddey’s piece so very much
it prompted me to write you again,
though I have been silent for a long,
long time and I doubt if you will allow
me to enter your circle now.
Mrs. Roddey, you spoke of friend
sir p, and I would like so much to
discuss the subject with you for there
is a great deal I would like to say,
but my fear of taking too much space
will keep me from expressing half I
feel. However, I think two of the
most beautiful friendships I have ever
read of are described in the Bible.
Greatest, of course, is the divine
friendship between our Saviour and
Saint John, and next to this the one
between David and Jonathan. David
says, . . . “very pleasant hast thou
been unto me: thy love to me was
wonderful, pasing the love of women.”
Surely this is saying a great deal, be
cause I happen to know that women
are capable of loving their friends veiy
sincerely and very deeply. The noble
and saintly women who were the last
at the Cross and the first to visit the
tomb, were faithful in their devotion
to the end.
Whenever I am in low spirits, and a
bright, happy friend comes in and
chats with me for awhile, their visit
seems equal to a glorious sun-burst
just after a severe storm.
God be thanked for good and true
friends!
“ ’Tis friends who make this desert
world
To blossom as the rose,
Strew flowers o’er our rugged path,
Pour sunshine o’er our woes.”
I will close, with best wishes for
our dear editor and his family, and
each member of “The Household.”
Sincerely,
SISTER ANNIE.
