She was a member of First Bap tist Church of Winder and attend ed the Old Fort Baptist Church in Summer ville for the past eight years. Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul Patrick; her brother, Willie T Austin; and sisters, Rubye Harbin and Johnnie Wall. Hart, Whites- burg; maternal father, Thomas P. Paulk, Whitesburg; nieces, neph ews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He graduated in 2010 from Indian Hills High School, Oak land, N.J., and was attending Bergen Community College majoring in Sociology while liv ing with his "Jeepa” in New Jersey. His quietness was often misunderstood. "He tried his too short life to understand others, to be accepting of all with whom he came in contact. It wasn’t always easy, but that never deterred him,” Jeepa said. T.J. was well loved and respected. He will be missed. The family plans a celebration of life for Paulk on September 17, at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder. Mrs. Powell was an employee of Carwood Manu facturing for many years and a member of Yonah Congregation al Holiness Church. She loved everyone and enjoyed helping others. She especially enjoyed making and giving fried pies to her family and friends. Mrs. Powell is known by her nieces and nephews as "Jubie.” In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening.
