DEFENSIVE EFFORT
Bethlehem Christian Academy’s Tanner Schwebel makes a sack for the
Knights defense Friday night. In a game where points were tough to come by
for both offenses, it was the defenses which shined in this battle at Knights
Field.

home game for BCA.

Following its lone score
of the night, BCA turned
the football over on downs
on consecutive drives and
did not get the football
back after that until the
final seconds. Two incom
plete passes and a quarter
back sack secured the win
for the Rams.
“It just didn’t go our way
from the start of the game,”
Fendley said. “Our defense
did play well. When you
give up six points you
should win. Our offense
needed to capitalize and
score more than one touch
down.”
BCA will look to regroup
this week as it ventures to
Holy Spirit Prep in Atlanta.
The Cougars have strug
gled this season and enter
the game 0-3 overall.
Holy Spirit has been
outscored 158-12 in those
contests.
Fendley said the Holy
Spirit Cougars have faced
three quality opponents.
Holy Spirit has a new head
coach in 2016 in Shawn
Corey, who has been an
assistant at West Forsyth
and Pinecrest Academy.
The game is also on the
road for BCA which has
been an issue this season.

good on the road going
