YOUTH FOOTBALL
Players for the Barrow County 6U and 7U football teams include Cooper
Ballard, Kaden Billings, Markeil Campbell, Hudson Collins, Gavin Cooper,
Landon Crawford, Collier Curott, Jacob Damons, Lennox Dorsey, Logan
Dressier, Jayden Finch, Gavin Gee, Brayden Hendrix, Jonson Hughes,
Cameron James, Steffan Jacques, Jaxson Lee, Conno Lewis, Peyton
Long, Holden Mashburn, Kayden Powell, Javion Smith, Colton Thornton,
Jordan Williams, Zach Youngblood and Jaden Zukusky. 6U coaches include
Coaches Browner (head coach), Coach Lee, Coach James, Coach Billings,
Coach Collins and Coach Masburn. Coaches for the 7U team include Coach
Jackson (head coach), Coach Moses, Coach Aaron, Coach Billings and
Coach Phillips. Team moms include Devon Zukusky, Deanna Crowe, Collen
Long and Jennifer McElveen. On Saturday, the undefeated 6U team defeated
North Hall 40-0 and the 7U team defeated Jefferson 18-0.

BACK IN ACTION
The Bethlehem Christian Academy football team will return to Knights Field
this Friday against The Heritage School in GISA Region 1-AAA action.

The Hawks have the “complete pack
age.” according to Fendley.
“You have to be fundamentally sound
defensively against them,” Fendley said.
“One step in the wrong direction and it
will cost you against this team.”
Defensively, The Heritage School plays
an aggressive style of football.
“They blitz you from every different
angle,” Fendley said. “They are very mul
tiple up front. It is tough to block them all
but what you have to do is get in front of
the ones that matter. The key to beating
someone like that is to show them a lot of
looks offensively.”
The week off benefited the Knights,
who had played a game every week since
Aug. 12, in terms of rest, both mentally
and physically.
“We are running full speed,” said Fend
ley.” We gave the kids a couple of days off
to get their legs back.”
Kickoff Friday at Knights Field is set
for 7:30 p.m.

•Notes: The Bethlehem Christian Academy football team was off last
Friday and returns this week to face a huge test in The Heritage School. The
Hawks are undefeated and have been extremely impressive in their region
games. BCA coach Lance Fendley said he hopes playing Augusta Prep, anoth
er undefeated team, in the last outing for the Knights, will help the Knights
this week against another high-level opponent.
