Braselton Police Department Arrests
Fight breaks out in roundabout in Braselton
A fight broke out in a round
about last week.
The Braselton Police Depart
ment made multiple arrests and
issued a warrant following the
fight.
Angela Green was arrested for
cruelty to children and simple bat
tery.
Mike Fussell was arrested for
affray. And warrants were obtained
for Cheyenne Kay for affray.
Officers responded to the Grand
Hickory Drive location in refer
ence to a fight.
A car was parked in the wrong
direction with a group of people
standing around.
Green said her daughter (Fus
sell) and Kay had gotten into a
fight in the middle of the round
about.
Green said the two go to school
together and that Kay had been
harassing Fussell.
Kay reportedly drove by her res
idence in Buford earlier, making
threats to Fussell at their home.
Green said that when she heard
about the threats, she drove her
daughter over to Kay's house to let
her confront her.
When asked why she was parked
the wrong way, Green said she
made a wrong turn in the round
about and did not realize it until
another vehicle came towards her.
She said a female passenger then
yelled at her saying, “You're going
the wrong way, b***h.”
Coincidentally. Kay was the
driver of that vehicle.
Kay and Fussell got out of their
vehicles, and started fighting on
the grass.
Green said she was just going to
let her daughter handle her busi
ness with Kay and did not try to
break up the fight.
The passenger who had yelled at
Green then reportedly got out her
phone and started recording the
fight. Green then went over to the
girl and swatted the phone down.
telling her she “was not going to
record the fight.”
When the fight was over. Kay
left the scene.
Officers spoke with the girl who
had tried to record the incident.
She agreed the two girls fought
and said she tried to record it, but
“Green came over and attacked her
and tried to take her cell phone.”
The girl had scratch marks on her
arm.
Officers watched the video and
saw Kay and Fussell fighting in
the grass. They also saw Green
walk over to the woman with the
camera and attack her.
Green is seen on the video
swinging her arms at the woman’s
head, while the woman was trying
to get away. The video did not
show whether Green made contact
with the woman.
Officers asked for a copy of the
video, but the girl didn't have cell
phone service.
