HAYMON-MORRIS MIDDLE SCHOOL HOLDS ‘TEEN
CONNECTION’ MEETINGS
The “Teen Connection” club at Haymon-Morris Middle School is open to
all students in grades 6-8. Once every month, students stay after school
to attend a fun-filled afternoon. On Oct. 6, teachers and community
volunteers supervised a variety of activities that began shortly after the
dismissal bell. Students had opportunities to play flag football, paint,
design Christmas cards, bake treats, and design using Legos. Each time
a meeting is held, students work on community projects, and they also
sponsor a book collecting campaign for the Barrow Book Partnership.
