Why I can’t vote for Hillary
To tell the truth, I don’t
really like either of our
Presidential candidates.
While Donald Trump is
certainly not “presiden
tial” in nature, I don’t fear
him.
The former Secretary
of State Hillary Rodham
Clinton is a liar and I fear
her, as well as the liber
al left, especially the left,
and the Clinton Founda
tion.
And, I see Hillary as a
pawn to some powerful
and greater force that is a
dire threat to our republic.
The only hope for this
once great nation is for
Tramp to win the Presi
dency or should Hillary
win, the Republicans win
ning the house and senate.
I’ll take Trump over
Clinton for a number of
reasons.
Hillary and the dem
ocratic left have shown
no respect for our U.S.
Constitution or the Bill of
Rights.
Our basic freedoms
from taxation without
representation, to bearing
arms, free speech and the
freedom to worship are at
stake.
These same forces have
demonstrated open hostil
ity toward Christians and
the religious structures of
this nation.
The former Secre
tary has been accused of
accepting monies via the
Clinton Foundation from
foreign governments. In
the past few days, another
such incident has come to
light.
Why would Morocco
pay Hillary Clinton sev
eral million dollars for a
speaking engagement if
they didn’t expect some
thing in return? If it isn’t
a bribe, it sure does smell
like one.
In 2010 Bill Clinton
was paid $500,000 for a
speech in Russia. Four
months later, Hillary Clin
ton and the State Depart
ment approved the sale
of an American uranium
company to a Russian
company.
The uranium company
then made a $135 million
donation to the Clinton
Foundation.
Russia now controls 20
percent of U.S uranium
which is used in nuclear
weapons.
Between 2001 and
2012, husband Bill was
paid $500,000 or more for
13 speeches while Hillary
was Secretary of State.
Foreign business
boomed during this time.
Connect the dots!
The Clinton Founda
tion scares me; too many
unanswered questions, too
many third-world inter
national partnerships, too

AS YOU LIKE IT - This year
marks the 400th anniversary of
William Shakespeare’s death,
and our Drama Club marked
the famous playwright’s pass
ing by performing one of his
best known comedies for this
year’s One Act Competition.
As You Like It is a brilliant,
twisting path of mistaken iden
tities that leads to a happy end
ing of four marriages. Along
the way, hearts are broken,
relationships are formed, and a
usurping Duke has a religious
conversion.
Thank you to One Act Di

others who worked tirelessly
on this year’s play. Also, a
big shout out to Nathan and

wonderful performances by

many shadows that hide
too many answers.
Another scary report
that surfaced in the past
several days came from
Brett Baier.
The journalist reported
there appeal's to be proof
(a video was released) “...
pro Hillary forces at least
plotted to circumvent elec
tion law and disrupt events
for Donald Trump, often
inciting violence.”
Bottom line according to
Baier and the report, agita
tors were paid to create
disruptions, even fights,
outside of rally locations
for Donald Trump.
The disruptions had
to occur outside rally
facilities where the law
enforcement jurisdiction
fell to local law enforce
ment agencies.
Had they occurred
inside, arrests, etc. would
have been under the juris
diction of the Secret Ser
vice.
Interestingly, the major
networks have avoided
coverage of the expose.
Nor, have those networks
reported on a USA Today
investigation that detailed
an extremely close rela
tionship between corpo
rate lobbyists, the Clin
ton State Department, the
Clinton Foundation and
top donors to the Clinton
campaign.
The national media
has been far from neu
tral during the campaign,
demonstrating a clear
objective to help the Clin
ton campaign push Trump
off the wall.
Barack Obama has put
this nation at great risk,
Clinton will continue.
Clinton wants to pursue
several programs pushed
by the Obama adminis
tration and she will cer
tainly take advantage of
“Executive Orders” after
seeing how easily Obama
managed to use them to
bypass Congress.
Clinton wants to raise
taxes, increase the nation
al debt even more, and
pursue a world economy.
Obama needs her in office
in order to fulfill his leg
acy.
Don’t forget Hillary’s
other scandals; using the
IRS as a weapon against
critics, the FBI to research
Clinton opposition, Trav-
elgate, Cattlegate, the
missing Rose Law Finn’s
billing records, the suicide
of White House Vince Fos
ter and Pardongate where
Hillary’s brothers won a
pardon for drug kingpin
Carlos Vignali and fraud
ster Glenn Braswell.
Another concern hidden
from the spotlight is Hil
lary’s physical health. It is
questionable as to wheth
er she will survive in the
White House 15 months
because of medical con
cerns. The list goes on
and on.
In considering Trump’s
candidacy, he is expect
ed to rebuild our military,
cut our deficit, downsize
government, correct our
immigration problems,
and stop intrusive govern
ment programs.
Trump hasn’t raised
taxes, nor has he deci
mated our nuclear force.
He hasn’t sold uranium
to the Russians; he hasn’t
betrayed Israel or support
ed the Iran nuclear deal.
Trump hasn’t taking any
actions that have raised
our food prices by three
and four times, he hasn’t
armed federal agents in
every department, nor did
he sell out to the Iranians.
The Republican Presi
dential candidate did not
allow four Americans to
die needlessly at Benghazi
and then lie to the world. I
can live with Trump’s pre
sumptuous attitude if he
can save our sovereignty,
our Constitution and our
Bill of Rights!

Immigration reform not
‘xenophobic’ or ‘racist’
The issue of immigration is a hot
topic, and understandably so.
We want to be compassion
ate, understanding, and hospi
table people, but at the same
time we want to ensure the
safety and well-being of our
loved ones, as well as our
selves.
As much as I do not like
Donald Trump, or the fact that
he is the GOP nominee, I have
to agree with him on most of
his stance on immigration.
Just because he is in favor
of securing the border and
enforcing the immigration laws that
the Obama Administration has been
ignoring does not mean that he is
“racist” or a “xenophobe,” nor does
it mean such for those who are voting
for him because of this issue.
(Disclaimer: I did NOT say I would
or would not vote for him.)
In one of my previous columns I
spoke about the rise of ISIS and how
they are infiltrating refugees who are
coming in across the U.S.-Mexican
border and setting up training camps
within the United States.
This is a big deal, as this puts our
national security at risk.
I am not understanding how arming
Syrian “rebels” who the government
knows is fighting alongside ISIS (and
a lot of them even converting to ISIS
fighters) will “protect” our national
security by aiding those against whom
we are supposed to be fighting, but
allowing those who have vowed to
destroy us into the country is “com
passionate.”
But let’s give the government the
benefit of the doubt for the moment
and pretend that these terrorists aren’t
coming here and setting up camp.
Let’s say it is just those searching
for a better life and thinking they can
find it in the U.S.
These people are coming here and
are among the lower economic class
and having to live in neighborhoods
that are overrun with crime because
of their low incomes.
That is not necessarily their fault,
but then we have to think of the
influence that these neighborhoods
will have on them, or their children,
especially when we are in a perpetual
war against drugs.
I do translating every so often,
including for an attorney who needs
to communicate with clients.
I have seen people get involved with
“undocumented immigrants” who are
mixed in with the wrong people and
the wrong lifestyles.
jessica
swords
In one case, a man (not the client
of the attorney) is an undocumented
immigrant who was busted for
drug trafficking and would be
ineligible for most judges to
grant him a bond while await
ing trial.
Because of this, he would sit
in jail and unable to make any
money (whether legitimate or
not) for an attorney, and there
fore would have to get a public
defender that is paid for by our
tax dollars.
This is because a judge is
not likely to grant a bond on
such felony charges if the person’s
background cannot be known, and
especially if the defendant is likely
not to show up in court, which hap
pens if the judge cannot identify an
actual place of residence.
Not only that, but with a public
defender who has an overload of
cases, he will more than likely not get
a good deal on his charges, and will
sit in jail for a minimum sentence of
10 years and a $200,000 per charge
(in this case, there are two of these
charges).
He also risks deportation, but more
than likely this would be after serving
his sentence and paying his fines.
If he is able to get out of jail after
serving his sentence, then he would
have a hard time getting a legitimate
job.
If he is unable to get a job, I see two
scenarios happening: a.) He is unable
to pay the fine and is put back in jail
for not complying with the terms of
his parole/probation; b.) He goes back
to the street life and continues traf
ficking drugs and the cycle continues
over.
You see, the immigration issue goes
well beyond border security, as there
are many factors that hurt not only the
taxpayers, but also the immigrants.
They are already at a disadvantage
and will be predisposed to violating
laws that target minorities and low-in
come families.
This is a direct result of the drug
war, which is an article on its own
(and coming soon in the future).
Of course, there are other aspects
to the issue that include refugees and
breaking up families because of legal
status, as well as the welfare system,
but as I’m maxed out on my word
count, I will have to save those for a
later date.
