Barrow County Sheriff’s Office arrests
Four face drug charges in Barrow County
Four people were recently arrest
ed by the Barrow County Sheriff’s
Office on drug charges.
Those arrested and their charges
were:
•Scott Richard Rudd. 44, 117
McElroy Street, Winder, manu-
facture/deliver/distribute/adminis-
ter/sell/possess with the intent to
distribute a Controlled Substance
and fumishing/purchasing alcohol
ic beverage by persons below the
legal age.
•Carlana Cierra Dawkins, 17,
709 Moonlite Trace, Winder, pos
session of marijuana.
•Stephen Roy Bradford, 22,
1731 Miller Springs Drive. Beth
lehem, probation violation, crimi
nal damage to property, possession
of methamphetamine and theft by
receiving stolen property.
•Michael C. Carden, 33, 313
Booth Road, Statham, improper
lane change/failure to maintain
lane, possession of marijuana, driv
ing without a valid driver's license,
open container violation and DUI
- alcohol.

Barrow County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Auburn man’s
An Auburn man reported
on December 2, his 2015
Honda Accord was stolen
from him at knifepoint.
The man told Barrow
County Sheriff’s Office per
sonnel he was at 1320 Har
mony Grove Church Road,
Auburn, on November 30,
between 9 p.m. and mid
night, when a friend and
another male threatened him
at knifepoint and demanded
his car keys.
The complainant admit
ted to officers the incident
was drug related.
He said two-three hours
after his car was taken
another male came to the
residence and told him he
would not be getting his
car back that it “was to be
sold to pay off $6,000 in
debt owed to the drug car
tel.” The complainant said
this man displayed a hand
gun and pointed a laser
sight onto the wall and he
believed this was an effort
to intimidate him into coop
erating.

A man reported someone
had been making unautho
rized transactions from his
Credit One Bank account.

Highway 211 NW at Anita
Drive. Winder. The male
driver of a 2016 Ford F-150
track stated his vehicle was
rear-ended by the driver of
a 2013 Dodge Challenger
who did not stop.
•criminal trespass, bur
glary and theft by taking
at Barrow Mini Warehous
es, Atlanta Highway SE,
Winder. An employee with
Osmos Utilities reported it
appeared someone had cut
the lock off the unit where
their products were stored.
The employee said the only
thing missing was a can
ister of wood treatment,
but it looked like some of
the boxes had been gone
through.

failure to maintain lane and
driving under the influence
(DUI) of alcohol on Univer
sity Parkway at Patrick Mill
Road SW, Winder, where an
accident was reported. The
driver of a 2015 Chevrolet
Equinox appeared to have
lost control of her vehicle
and overturned in the medi
an.

property at a Georgetowne
Drive, Winder, location,
where a woman reported
losing her wallet after she
placed it on top of her car
before driving off. She said
the wallet, valued at $110,
contained a debit card, cred
it cards, Social Security card
and $13 in currency.

ness. A man reported a 1995
Ford F-350 track and metal
trailer, loaded with potting
soil, had been stolen from
his business. The man said
the total value of the stolen
items was $8,700.

age that contained two horse
saddles, valued at $6,000.
