The complainant stated the man “became enraged and began yelling at him.” He said he tried to explain to the man to “just come back,” but the man balled up his fist and drew it back like he was going to hit the complainant in the face and the man said “give it to me or I’m going to punch you.” The com plainant said the man then started punching a glass display case that was on the counter full of items. He said the display case shattered immediately. The complainant said the man continued to punch and push the display case until everything was on the floor behind the counter. The complainant stated he grabbed the phone and ran towards the back room to call 9-1-1. He said the man left the store and he (complainant) went out side to get a tag number and the man pulled back around and drove towards the complainant. •criminal trespass at Subway. Atlanta Highway NW, Winder, where an employee reported dam age to a light and vent at the rear of the building. The employee stated he believed someone was try ing to break into the busi ness at night. •forgery at a Treemont Trace, Winder, residence, where a woman reported her husband noticed some fraudulent charges on their bank account totaling $1,383. •theft by shoplifting at Walmart, Atlanta High way NW, Winder, where two female had reportedly stuffed items under their jackets and attempted to leave the store without paying. The items were valued at $741. •damage to property on Loganville Highway at Exchange Boulevard, Bethlehem, where a man reported damage to his 2011 Ford F-150 truck that was caused when debris in the roadway from an earlier crash was struck by a passing vehicle causing it to strike the driver’s door of his truck. •driving under the influ ence (DUI) of alcohol, speeding and open con tainer violation at Walmart, Winder, where the driver of a 2000 Dodge Caravan was stopped for traveling 80 mph in a 55-mph speed zone. •entering an automobile or other motor vehicle with the intent to commit a theft or other felony and theft by taking at a Lois Lane, Winder, residence, where a woman reported someone entered her 2008 Mazda 6 and stole a Charter Arms Lavender Lady .38 Special revolver, valued at $380. •A man reported he was being harassed by a man on social media to pay him $100 to keep some pho tos from being “spread all over the internet.” •theft by shoplifting at Walmart, Atlanta High way NW, Winder, where a female had attempted to take multiple items from the store without paying. •hit and run; duty of the BCSO incidents continued from 7A driver to stop at or return to the scene of an accident on Atlanta Highway, Auburn, where a woman report ed someone damaged her 2007 Hyundai Elantra while she was at work at this location. •criminal damage to property on Miller Springs Drive, Bethlehem, where a domestic dispute was reported. The male com plainant reported he believed his estranged wife had vandalized his 2001 Honda S2000 by pouring brake fluid into the engine. •dispute at Walmart, Winder, where a male reported his girlfriend’s father had confronted him in the store and attempted to start an argument with him. •burglary at a Patrick Industrial Lane, Winder, business, where a man reported someone borke into a trailer on his busi ness property and stole a red, metal gas can. •entering an automobile or other motor vehicle with the intent to commit a theft or other felony and theft by taking at Murphy Oil, Atlanta Highway NW, Winder, where a woman reported the theft of her purse. She said the purse was taken out of her 2004 Ford Freestar while she was paying for gas. •burglary at a Pleasant Hill Church Road SE. Statham, residence, where a man reported the theft of lumber, nails and ham mers. •criminal damage to property at a Williams Road, Auburn, residence, where a man reported two broken window panes, a broken toilet tank and dam age to the hot water heater in his rental house. The female stated the male was at her residence prior to her com ing home and he would not leave after being asked to do so. •financial transaction card fraud at a Garden Lane, Statham, residence, where a man reported someone had used his Sears card without his knowledge or permission. •duty to report striking an unattended vehicle at Walmart, Atlanta High way NW, Winder, where a woman reported someone hit her 2010 Buick Enclave while it was parked at this location. •disorderly conduct and possession of marijua na at The Home Depot. Carl-Bethlehem Road. Bethlehem, where a fight was reported. An employ ee reported he went to the restroom and was con fronted by a male demand ing all his money and his phone. The employee said the male pushed something hard into his stomach and told him it was a gun. The employee said he became angry and punched the male suspect and the two began fighting until anoth er employee came into the restroom and the male sus pect ran out of the store. A man reported approximately six weeks ago a roofing com pany representative did an inspection on his roof looking for hail damage. He said the roofing compa ny representative told him he had hail damage and would need a new roof. The complainant stated he filed a claim with his insurance company and they sent an adjuster out to inspect the roof. He said the adjuster reported the only damage was “mechanical damage” caused intentionally by a person. The complainant said he believed the roof ing company representa tive caused the damage in an attempt to get the com plainant to file a claim. •theft by taking at a Harvest Lane, Hoschton. residence, where a woman reported the theft of mail from her mailbox. •theft by taking at a Dunedin Drive, Bethle hem, residence, where a woman reported the theft of a 6x10 utility trailer val ued at $1,500. •theft by taking at a Sim eon Road, Statham, resi dence, where a man report ed the theft of a hand gun and two magazines.
