BARROW COUNTY ELECTED OFFICIALS SWORN IN
A ceremony was held Dec. 21 at the Barrow County Courthouse to swear
in the local recently-elected officials to take office on Jan. 1. The follow
ing were sworn in. From left ro right, front row: Probate Judge Tammy S.
Brown, Clerk of Superior Court Regina Brock McIntyre; Chief Magistrate
Caroline Power Evans; Tax Commissioner Melinda W. Williams; and Board

RMS STUDENTS PERFORM FOR BCREA
The Russell Middle School seventh and eighth
grade Select A Cappella Chorus are shown per
forming at the December meeting of the Barrow
County Retired Educators Association (BCREA).
BCREA members were delighted with a musical
performance by the students. RMS provided lunch
for the retired educators and treated them to a
tour of the school, which opened this school year.
BCREA welcomes all retired education employees
from all counties. Meetings are held the second
Wednesday of each month. For more information,
