He led Jefferson in sacks and tackles for loss from his defensive tackle position to help the Dragons finish 12-2 and reach the Class AAAA semi finals. Wilson was named the Player of the Year for Region 8-AAAA and was an all-state selection for Class AAAA by the AJC. • • • Ethan Morris, Apalachee, Sr., WR 780 yards receiving, 5 touchdown receptions Comment: Morris was a first-team all-region selection for Region 8-A AAAA A and a GACA North/South all-star. Josh Agbenou, Apalachee, So., LB 85 tackles, 8 tack les for loss Comment: Agbenou will be Apalachee's top returning player next year. Griffin Goodwin, Banks Co., Sr. QB 120-of-240 passing, 1,978 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, 1 touch down reception Comment: Goodwin was a four-year starter at quarterback and led the Leopards to a region run ner-up finish and to their first-ever second-round playoff appearance. Bryce Bennett, Banks Co., Sr., WR-ATH 50 receptions, 947 yards receiving, 11 touchdown receptions, 140 yards rush ing, 3 rushing touchdowns, 63-yard pass completion Comment: 4 playmaker who also returned kicks, Rennett did a little bit of everything for the Leopards. Clayton Dykehouse, Banks Co., Jr., RB 1,078 yards rushing, 11 rushing touchdowns, 22 catches, 216 receiving yards, 1 touchdown catch, Comment: Dykehouse was a 1,000-yard rusher for the Leopards but also showcased his ability by catching the ball out of the backfield and returning kicks. Demetrius Walker, Banks Co., Sr., OLB 90 tackles, 2 fum ble recoveries Comment: Praised by his coach as a great athlete, Walker led the Leopards in tackles. Patrick Wallace, Bethlehem Christian, Jr., OL-DL 23 tackles, 9 solo tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 0 sacks allowed on the o-line Comment: Wallace was a very important player for Bethlehem Christian in the trenches this year. Jeff Alvarez, Bethlehem Christian, Sr., DE 44 tackles, 32 solo tack les, 4 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries Comment: Alvarez was Bethlehem Christian's best defensive lineman. Matthew Kamm, Bethlehem Christian, Jr., LB-RB 58 tackles, 48 solo tackles, six tackles for loss, 1 safety, 1 interception / 242 yards rushing, 6 touchdowns, 18 catches, 240 yards receiving Comment: Praised by his coach as a "great football player," Kamm served as the Knights' team cap tain this past season. Tanner Schwebel Bethlehem Christian, So., RB-DB 661 yards rushing, 6 rushing touchdowns / 27 tackles, 23 solo tackles, seven tackles for loss, 1 interception Comment: Bethlehem Christian coaches look for a bright future out of Schwebel. Cole Chancey, Commerce, Sr., FB-SS 1,473 yards rushing, 19 touchdowns / 59 tackles, 2 defensive touchdowns Comment: Chancey led the Tigers' potent ground game and totaled 21 touch downs on the year, including two defensive scores. He was an all-state selection for Class 4 Public by the AJC at defensive back. Cade Overstreet, Commerce, Sr., OL Average grade of 92 percent on the offensive line, 42 pancake blocks Comment: Overstreet led the Tigers' offensive line in grade outs, pancake blocks and cuts.
